Here is my problem : I have 7 applications to deploy on Forms server, each with there own applicationsX.env file. In formsweb.cfg, I specify an envFile directive in each applications specific section.The problem is that I would prefer not to copy default.env 7 times just to add 2-3 specific directives. I would like to always include default.env + applicationsX.env for example.
Is there a way to specify multiple env file in the envFile directive?
I have to do a number of database exercises and it's my very first time using SQL. I did all of them, except for one query.It's fairly simple, I need to find for every combination of warehouses (there are 5) and items (25) how many of each items I can stock in said warehouse until until it goes over the capacity. So for example warehouse 1 has a max of 300 pounds and item 1 weighs 1 pound, so I can stock 300 in it. Warehouse 1 and product 2...etc.
Every warehouse has a capacity in pounds and every item has a weight also in pounds. There are 3 tables between warehouse and items (warehouse---shipment---order----order details----items).
I managed to find every instance of warehouse_ID/item_ID/(capacity/weight)...but thats for the existing warehouses/item. If they added a new warehouse or product, I'd be screwed, as they wouldnt show up in my query...here's my query:

I want to creat a table using Execute Immediate that includes tablespace name in the create table command. But I don't know the tablespace name that the client is using. Can I incorporate in a script? If yes, then how?
I have written the following proc. While executing , it gives me the error: ORA-00959: tablespace 'V_TABLESPACE_NAME' does not exist.

However when I run this I do not see the sys.aud$ in the log file. I know I can do a seperate export to specifically get the sys.aud$ table but is there any way to include it in with my full export?
I am using oracle 11.2.0.3.0, i have taken database backup using rman , after backup i have added a new datafile . My database has been crash , can i restore the database including the new data file which does not include in backup . I have all the archive logs.
I'm trying to modify my dbca template to include two control files. One on ASM +RECO and we we're thinking of adding the second one on the database filesystem $ORACLE_BASE/something/something Within the template there are references to controlfiles two places:
With this configuration there is only one controlfile created and that is on +RECO. What am I doing wrong and also should I add the second controlfile to +DATA instead of fielsystem $ORACLE_BASE?
if it is possible to include 'data' files as part of the Application Export process. Up till now I've only been able to include supporting object files which will recreate a table structure but not the data records - I've been creating the latter outside of APEX.

To do this on an individual form is easy enough using the Oracle Forms Developer editor however I have over 100 Forms and reports.
I would like need a utility that will search all Oracle Forms in a given directory without having to actually open a Form(s) in the Oracle Forms Developer editor and then report which Forms may contained the sought after string.

is there a way to keep the display of the form when we call another new form. my scenario will be as following:
am in form1 , i call form 2 from a menu, after this call form2 is open in place of form1.
i have no control in form1 and i can't change anything on it, i don't know hw the menu option is calling form2.the only control i have will be within form2 if there is any change i can make it.i read something about MDI, and OPEN_FORM() procedure, but i think this will required a change in form1 which i can't do.
is there any change i can make in form2 to display it and keep the display of form1 at the same time behind it ?

My query is: I have created a master-child forms on one canvas. In a child form i have to enter multiple records, but after entering every record its prompting me to save it. I want to avoid it and save the entire thing once all my records are entered.
I'd want to select multiple records in my multi-record block. I'd also want to do that with checkboxes. When the user clicks on a particular checkbox, that should be selected and whatever record the user wants to check it should be added to selected records.
I have a form with two data blocks, one parent, one child block.
The parent is holds mineral lease info while the child holds the mineral owner info, such as addresses and phone numbers. One owner can be in the owner block multiple times (different owner types). The form only displays one owner at a time.
We have a separate master owner table which holds owner address. (We set it up this way because we get electronic info from mineral companies that we have to load each year).
As you tab through the owner block, it checks the FEIN against the master table and pulls updated address info from the master table.
I have a problem in which if an owner is on the lease multiple times, when you tab through the first instance, it pulls in the new address info, but when you go to the next instance, it won't update. If you requery, it seems that the first update actually updated all the owner records on that lease. How can I turn this off?
I have created tab canvases in the tab canvas there is three tab pages.and i have been used one datablock(use the datablock wizard) all the table column(items) is displayed only in the single tab pages--frames.for example

so i want to display datablock in all the three frames.
I have two blocks, both are multi record block. 1st block is control block and second is database block. Both the blocks have same fields(Example: Location,Location_name,Location_Type). In the first block(Control Block) I have check box. My goal is when I check the checkbox and click on add button all the records which are selected in first block should go to second block.
I am coming across a requirement wherein a databse cloumn is shred by 2 fields..( need to append the value to the data-base column for the 2nd field.
I dint test it yet but the form compiled with warning FRM-30431: Warning: Duplicate column name in same block...is it ok to further go or its not allowed at all?
