I am doing an export using the following parfile information:
userid=/
directory=datapump_nightly_export
dumpfile=test_expdp.dmp
logfile=test_expdp.log
full=y
content=all
However when I run this I do not see the sys.aud$ in the log file. I know I can do a seperate export to specifically get the sys.aud$ table but is there any way to include it in with my full export?
let us consider mytest schema is having 6 tables
tname tabtype
myt table
myaxpertlog table
abb table
ccc table
ddd table
xxx table
now from this schema i want full dump and also from myaxpertlog table i required metadata only not records.
c:> export mytest/log file=20130409mytest0904pm.dmp tables=(myaxpertlog) rows=n
if i tried i am get only one table but it does have records.

I am getting ORA-39127 while taking full database export using EXPDP on oracle 10g enterprise edition 10.1.0.2 . This is production database.

Datapump Export completes with these 2 errors and dumpfile is generated. Are these errors Problematic. Will these errors cause problems while taking import from the dumpfile .
my working is relating with PUMP of oracle.
I would like to use command, for ex:
expdp hr/hr DIRECTORY=dpump_dir1 DUMPFILE=expdat.dmp COMPRESSION=ALL LOGFILE=export.log SCHEMAS=hr
But some tables in Schema HR, I don't want to export data, just only need table structure.
i want to perform full export + import of an oracle 11g database as fast as possible. i was thinking to perform the exp+imp on the same command.in exp i can perform something like this :

i know that i can do both action in impdp when using a dblink, but the problem is that some objects in the database cannot be copied via a dblink. the question is if there's a corresponding datapump command to the old exp+imp command i presented.
Does the full cold backup of rman include online redologs?
So that at the time of recovery when i restore the database the online redologs also restored to that point?
if it is possible to include 'data' files as part of the Application Export process. Up till now I've only been able to include supporting object files which will recreate a table structure but not the data records - I've been creating the latter outside of APEX.

When exporting a 11g R2 database with expdp using full=y the logfile does not show that package bodies have been exported
(DATABASE_EXPORT/SCHEMA/PACKAGE/PACKAGE_SPEC is processed but no DATABASE_EXPORT/SCHEMA/PACKAGE_BODIES/PACKAGE/PACKAGE_BODY)
When importing the dump into an empty database only package specs (besides the other objects) have been imported but all package bodies are missing.

I have a database in my local machine that doesn't support Turkish characters. My NLS_CHARACTERSET is WE8ISO8859P1, It must be changed to WE8ISO8859P9 , since it supports full Turkish characters. I would like to migrate character data using a full export and import and my strategy is as follows:
1- create a full export to a location in network,
2- create a new database in local machine that it's NLS_CHARACTERSET is WE8ISO8859P9 (I would like to change NLS_LANGUAGE and NLS_TERRITORY by the way)
3- and implement full import to newly created database. I 've implemented first step, but I couldn't implement the second step. I would like to import a dump to an existing instance but only data import and will leave the current packages and other metadata untouched and unchanged on the said existing instance.
1. Do i need to drop user before the import if my requirements are the above?
2. If i need to drop user, what should be script.
3. For the import itself, what parameter should i use?

We are having 5 schemas in one database. Now we need to move Oracle server from one machine to another. I can take schema level back up using Export and Import in new server. I am not a DBA as we don't have a DBA I need to do this myself.
I want to know Is there an option to take full database back up including tablespaces and all the schemas in one shot. I read that RMAN is one option. But any option using EXP/IMP for same?
My plan is
-Take list of Tablespaces and create them in new server
-Take Exports of schemas from original server
-Create schemas and import the data in new server.

In my destination DB with database_name=dbfive and sid=dbfive1, i am trying to import whole database by using the file created above and use following

Process started but after sometime it gave 1200 errors. Is it due to the Different Database name or Is it because i did not create table space in destination database.
i wanna copy data from a table to another one (same structure, only difference is that the second table is partitioned). the origin table consists of about millions of lines so i made an insert :
insert into table2 select * from table1. the insertion doesn't end correctly : TOAD crashes, any line was inserted in table2 : select * from ...etc.
However, the file system becomes full. i would if there is a way to purge something like cache ..., are these lines inserted somewhere : temporary table...,
so i can reduce filesystem size.
