Windows / .NET :: Microsoft Exchange To Retrieve Data From Oracle DB

My company already work with Oracle 10g, I developed an application using this database and asp.NET. It allows the management of BD and exploitation of these data by clients via ASP pages.
Now I must use Microsoft Exchange (especially the calendar) to retrieve data from the Oracle database and embed links to setup my ASP pages to the calendar.
Being new to Exchange, my questions are:
- It can be done?
- Should I use a particular driver?
- Some idea ?

I need to create a doc file using Microsoft Word where I can get data from an Oracle DB.
I search on MS Word, for something like ODBC (like in Excel and Access) but in vain.
I need to do this so I can format the data on the doc file in any way I want. Not like in Oracle Reports, where formatting is a little bit restrictive.

we are running a front end application on classic asp and we are using microsoft ole db version to connect to oracle 9i database.Now as the users are increasing daily, the application performance is degrading day by day.
my question is will oracle ole db increase the performance of my front end application. and is it possible for me to migrate from microsoft oledb to oracle oledb without much changes in the application.

I'm using Microsoft Access 2007 as a front end to Oracle 10g tables using an ODBC Connection. I need to be able to add attachments to the records in one of my linked tables to hold emails, screen shots, log entries etc.
Access 2007 handles this capability with a field format called Attachment. I don't want to store the attachments locally but want them to be stored in Oracle, but I'm not sure what format the field in Oracle needs to be so that it will come across in Access as an Attachment field.

I use the oracle 10g database.I am trying to insert and retrive the image.Inserting an image is done.but while retrieving an image iam getting an run time exception in java "java.sql.sqlexception:general error".i am not able to understand this.
The code to insert the image is

I used the Exchange Partition feature to swap segments between 2 tables- one Partitioned, and one Non-Partitioned. The exchange went well. However, all the data in the partitioned table has gone to the partition which stores the maxbound values.

how to connect to Oracle to retrieve data using SQL language. I've started with a new company which is pretty much a sink or swim type of environment meaning you're an idiot if you don't figure it out on your own. I was told that we use Toad for Oracle 10g. I was given a server name; location and an .ora file named tnsnames that was given to me but I have no clue what to do with. I've come from companies where this was already setup. You just go into access to retrieve the data.
II have totally hit a brick wall with all the other roadblocks I encounter and all researched out. Where I can get step by step instructions on how to connect to start sql in Toad/Oracle?

I want to use SSIS,when i use oracle 10g as a data source to SQL Server 2008 as Destination, it gives error ora-01017 invalid username/password logon denied, i did normal oracle installation and give full privileges(sysdba or sysoper) to the user(sys,system...),when i check connection it shows test connection succeeded but when click on next it gives above error.

we are using ERP System based on Oracle DB. I have an oracle client 10.2.0 installed on my machine (Win 7/64-Bit) and trying to create Excel(2010) VBA-Macro to get datas out of the Oracle DB using a SQL query:
On my old machine (Win XP/Excel 2007) following worked fine:

I have an oracle DB version 11.2 running on oracle enterprise linux 5.9. How to transfer data from the oracle DB to a flat file on a windows server. What i have done so far is to use utl_file to create a csv file on the oracle server and am now attempting to transfer this file.
I was going to use scp or rcp but am unable to get this to work(was looking at filezilla). Another option i can use is ftp as i have a UNIX script which i can run to do this. All this is done through an oracle package which is run hourly through dbms_scheduler. I have been using sp_host_command to run unix commands directly from pl/sql so can use this to run a unix script for last resort if i cant find an easier way to automate this.

I ran exchange partition from non-partitioned table to a partitioned table with the following params: WITHOUT VALIDATION UPDATE GLOBAL INDEXES since we have a GLOBAL index( the GLOBAL is a must). After the exchange , if I'm running a simple query on the first column of the PK the plan is very bad and the EM Adviser advices me to build an index based on that column. I'm using 11.2.0.2

I am trying to exchange a partition and I am seeing an ORA-14096. I've done this several time before with other tables without problem. I am pretty sure my columns and index really does match.

I am writing a SQL inside an application to retrieve data from a table for certain IDs or for All employees based on the user's input. I create a variable :SELECTION for the where clause. When I run the SQL, I receive the error of missing right parenthesis. There is no error if I hard code the IDs.
If the input is 'All' -> the variable :SELECTION is blank so if the SQL :
select name, address, ID from employee :SELECTION
will be
select name, address, ID from employee
If the input of users ID as '1234','9999' - > the :SELECTION = ' where ID in (:VARIABLEID)'
:VARIABLEID = '1234','9999'
so the SQL:
select name, address, ID from employee :SELECTION
should be
select name, address, ID from employee where ID in ('1234','9999')
However, I got the missing right parenthesis error. I suspect it is something with the single quote, so I tried different ways, but it is still not working.

I am interested about the fast way to access all data in physical block. what is the quick way to bring data blocks using the rowid, I found this script but soon as I can have faster access:

WHERE ROWID between 'AAAUaOAAEAAHkJiAAA' and 'AAAUaOAAEAAHkJiAA8';
where 'AAAUaOAAEAAHkJiAAA' is the last element in the block and 'AAAUaOAAEAAHkJiAA8' is the first one

I have the following table with the some sample data:

The table works in such way:
1. For each of the Filename, if originating_site is not the same as receiving_site, it means that the file has been sent to receiving_site but has not been acknowledged received yet.
2. For each of the Filename, if originating_site is the same as receiving_site, it means the file has been sent and received by the receiving_site.
My task is to list out all the Filename per receiving_site that has been sent, but not received yet by the receiving_site. For example from the sample data above, I am expecting to see that siteA, fileB has not been received yet.
How can I do that? I had tried MINUS and NOT EXISTS command, but I am just not able to get the result that I want.
