Secure Backup :: Two Libraries In OSB

My scenario:
We have OSB 10.44 installed on 64 Bit Red Hat OS. Is working pretty fine with a Virtual Library that is configured in an Storage Box. Now we have acquired a Physical Storage and we want to duplicate the backups already taken by the Virtual Library into the new Physical Library.
We have 20 drives for the VTL and for the physical we are planning to have the same to duplicate all backups from VTL. That is being done in case Emergency Failures, so we can restore from Physical Library in case the VTL fails.
The question is: Is there any documentation on how to do duplicate backups.?
The duplicate backups copy wont be done in real time. They will be done after the backup is finished in the VTL and then will start the copy in the physical library.

We having OSB 10.4 on Solaris 10 with SL 24 TL Auto loader ( Tapes doesn't having Bar-code ), while firing file system backup (Sol 10 is the client OS) , it is hanging . and i have logged in to TL console then it shows loading and unloading. while OSB catalog backup is getting fired on the associated media family.

Is it possible to un-delete the deleted backup pieces, then catalog them to RMAN?

We are exploring Oracle Secure Backup in our environment as legato networker alternative. But RMAN backup in OSB is very slow due to sbt wait event (sbtwrite2). it can backup 5GB/hour. We think this not normal behavior. we have checked network throughput between media server and client server. It can send 50 GB data by 30 min.

Two questions.
1. Both Oracle Secure Backup and Oracle Secure Backup Express for x86 Solaris download the same file.
Is there no difference on Solaris?
2. Have installed and configured sgen driver and tapes can be labelled OK and the first backup works
BUT appending the next backup to the tape I get the following.
Space to EOD.

Device says it is offline

We are trying to use the SFTp transport in OSB 11g. Did the setup as mentioned in the documentation.The SFTP server is hosted on linux machine and using the user password mechanism.
We are reading a file using the ftp adapter and routing to the business service that is based on sftp.The file is picked up properly by proxy but while sending the file through SFTP, we are facing the following error.At the source and destination ends, the directories have the full permissions as required.

Oracle Back up is showing library Dell PS 6100E as unsupported device and can not retrieve any information from it, can not ping and can not verify both from obtool and web tool. Using Linux. I can ping from outside and see the device config using lsscsi. But obtool and webtool fails. Is it really unsupported ? In the

In my database server i am not able to login to the database via sqlplus and exp/imp also having error as below. But i am having permission to the this executable. I am falling under other user catagary

I am getting below error while retrieve the data from client 9.2.0.8.0 installed in SunOS. The job is scheduled fetch lacks of record from the client. In mid of job running getting this error.
Unfortunately still our business using 9i version since our code is supporting only for 9i version.

I have created TABS using jquery tabs library 1.8 and works right now the problem i want to add multiple-select autocomplete item but this only comes with jquery 1.9.2 and UI 1.10.1 so if i add this reference to the page header the multiple autocomplete works but the entire tab-set is broken due to conflicting versions of jquery libraries.... apex 4.1.

i recently installed an apex plugin but after deinstalling the plugin some of the functionality was still there.I suspected the plugin uploaded a js library and a css file.I found the functions apex_javascript.add_library and apex_css.add in the plugin.Where does apex save the files that are uploaded using those functions?I want do remove then.

How to secure oracle database, I am having the oracle database which will be packed as package in a machine and will be delivered to client place , need to ensure that the client will not access the database by any means.
Even he breaks the password (he should not break but despite client has broken the password) and went inside the database, he should not be able to see the databases Procedures ,views,functions and triggers. Can we Encrypt this, if so can client will be able to decrypt the same? Is there a way to secure the database from the client not to access the database.

am trying to use secure call to reports from forms using the frmrwinteg.jar javabean.
when i set the implementation class of the javabean area i still have the error FRM-13008 can't find javabean with name..,but i ignore it as i read at the whitepaper downloaded from OTN. and follow all instructions add to java directory,, add to formsweb,, add parameter to basejini.htm
each time i call the report i have been asked to connect and when i run the form my username and password are written to the consol and i still can see them at the html code when call parameter form, my code is

I have no authentication required for my application, but want to secure a few pages.
On the page I wish to secure I have specified that user should not be a public user.
When I click a link to the page I do get a login box, but I seem to be able to enter any old rubbish and still proceed to the page.
How do I secure an individual page without a general authentication scheme at application level, so an Apex user account is needed.

I have 2 seperate rman backup one backup is of only datafile ,spfile and controlfile which i am able to restore and recover without any problem say bkp1 taken at 10 am
other set of backup is of only archive log files of same day but later time than datafile backup say bkp2 taken at 8pm...if i restore and recover bkp1 and try to restore bkp2 it gives error datafile exist (possibly due to fact both backup have control file)
if i just restore bkp1 and try to restore bkp2 so that i can do one recover at time
it gives error datafile permission issue (possibly due to fact both backup have control file)
I want to restore database upto 8pm time how can i use both bkp1 and bkp2 to do it(restore datafiles and apply all archive logs on it)

We are doing RMAN Duplicate set until time to refresh daily our test database for our developers and it taking long time to finish. We noticed on the restore log that RMAN was using a day old old backup pieces to refresh the test database and don't immediately use the latest backup pieces instead.
For additional details here's the rman duplicate command we are using which we run daily(mon-sat) at 4am once daily full backup on production completed.
RMAN Duplicate commands:
run

set until time "to_date(to_char(sysdate,'Mon DD YYYY') || ' 04:00:00', 'Mon DD YYYY HH24:MI:SS')";
allocate auxiliary channel ch1 type disk;
duplicate target database to testdb;

Is there a way on how to let RMAN use the latest backup pieces instead?
