I am trying to upload the data into emp table through sqlloader and facing the following error.
col1 in the data file size is 300.
After reduced the length to 200 and its getting inserted successfully.

In first run, 16,36,897 were inserted successfully in around 38 seconds.But in second run, 54,62,952 records had to be inserted, but process failed after 708 seconds with following error :

I am running emca -config all db -repos recreate command and recreating the repository. Doing so I am getting error while uploading the repository. The Drop and Create is going fine. The exception that I am getting is :

How to get the payment date less than the sch date?
example:
1) for 07/24/2012 sch date the nearest payment date is 07/27/2012.
sch date should be less than the payment date.
Sch dates 07/24/2012 and 07/26/2012 are less than payment date 07/27/2012 but we take the least one.
2) sch date 07/27/2012 is less than the payment date 08/08/2012 so 07/27/2012

I have a form that upload an excel file to the database . I make for in it a browsing button for the uploaded file and take the path (e.g c:upload.xls) when the procedure of upload work. it always search for the path on the application server and thats wrong . I want it to search on the client machine for that path .

I get an ERR-7621 from Apex whenever I do anything in an application the tries to read a file. For example importing images, css files, themes, or applications. Even the data loader app will get the error if you choose to load a "csv" file. The following appears in my Apex Listener Log (version 2 early adopter). I am running 4.1.1 of Apex and also have another server running the same where the problem does not exist. Following is the log output whenever the load occurs:

I'm uploading data from excel to our database using forms thru webutil. The problem is when I open the same excel file while the upload process is in progress, the uploading stops, BUT not displaying any error. Not even when I chick Help->Show error.
How could I prevent this error and how to trap and display error message?
I have two different java process trying to insert in the same time in the same table for the same trade. The structure of the table Report is

There is a unique key on (TRADE_ID and VERSION) So if a new trade_id is inserted, the version is set to 1 and the second becomes 2 and so on. The version is calculated as last version of the trade_id ie. version + 1. It was woking fine till a new Java process was build that fired inserts through ten different java instances at the same time resulting in unique key error. So in detail what is hapenning is if three records of trade_id's comes in at the same time it should allocate versions in a first come first serve basis and there should be three versions of trade id 1,2 and 3. Now due to the multiple instances they all seems to get fired at once and all ending up with version one and thus resulting in unique key constrain error while trying to insert into the table.

uploading an image item which is not a database item from the operating system. I am using forms 10g on db 10g. My platform is windows Vista sp1.

But I just get a blank image on runform. I am using WHEN-NEW-BLOCK-INSTANCE trigger. I have tried it on when-new-form-instance, but also not working. The file am trying to upload is a JPG file format, but i cant find the file type in forms image item property. What can I change it to. Or how to i go about changing it.
