Application Express :: Error When Calling Skillbuilder Popup In Edit Record Mode?

Iam facing another issue with Skillbuilder modal page(for those who have used this plugins). Ive the CREATE part working well the problem is with EDIT part to edit records via the link i applied all the steps and clicking the edit link pops up the page but the issue is for any clicked row the parameter is not being passed and seleceted record doesnt show on the pop up page where could the problem be? though if i set it back to normal link created by the wizard the edit link works well and shows that record on the editable page.
Apex 4.1.1/oracle 11gR2 ; issue happens in FF & IE

I am using the skillbuilder modal dialog. I have a report that displays in the modal. I want to pass a value from the report back to the page that called the modal and then close the modal. I have tried several different things, but I have not been successful.

I use APEX 4.2.2 and in my page I call a Modal Region to insert a new customer using AIAX and OnDemand PL/SQL process, then I need to set the inserted value into the Popup LOV from javascript. I used the code

where P20_CUSTOMER is the Popup LOV, ajaxResult is the PK returning from the OnDemand PL/SQL process and P20_DESCRIPTION is an APEX Item of the Modal Region. The new customer is inserted successfully into the table and the PK value returned to javascript code, but the new value is not displayed into the LOV.

We have developed an application for our clients,planning to deploy it in client server soon. we have plans to support the application in future,so we want to restrict the clients from any modifications. By Doubt is, 'build_status=Run only' alone,cannot protect our application from client developers to edit our application,
Because though we install our application as 'Run Only' at the time of installation in client instance,we can still import the original application and change the type to 'Build and Run Application',and run the new application as 'Build and Run'.(which is not supposed to) we want to make sure,if there is any way we can protect our application from modifications after client side installation.

I have an IR report and want to add another column such as complete_date. I want to add as a link so when user click it then should display the popup window or javascript popup for date selection. i don't want to use apex_item.date_popup or apex_item.date_popup2. On date selection popup user can choose only two dates such as yesterday or today all other date should be disabled?

Using Apex 4.1.1
I have button which opens up a pop-up showing a report passing some parameter in URL. The button calls the javascript function defined below:

It all works well but for security I would like to add checksum to arguments in URL. I had a look at the Javascrpt API for Apex and couldn't find any for creating a checksum I can append to the URL.
Is there one that I missed or is it possible to do it by other means?.

today I stepped upon an issue regarding popup windows.I have created an application with popup windows for editing and inserting new records.I left the item label templates to "Optional with Help".When I now click upon an item label the help - popup window appears but it is hidden behind the popup window I am working in.
Is there a workaround for that.Is there a possibility to modify the z-order either of the help popup or of the modal window ?

I am having a problem with a popup lov. When I click on the "popup icon" I can select a supplier and it is stored in the field. But when I leave the form and return later, it shows the return value instead of the display value. For example: you select "supplier A" from the popup list with ID 12. "Supplier A" is shown in the text field, when you save the form, it stores ID 12 in it. But when you return to the form, it fetches ID 12 and shows "12" in the text field instead of "Supplier A".
I tried setting the "source" of the popup lov field as an SQL query, but that didn't work for me.

APEX 4.1.1.00.23 on 11gR2 - browser independent issue.
We are converting all of our applications to use a standard centralised theme (23). This is fine and seems to work for all templates except for Popup LOV. When you choose the master template it shows as subscribed from within the template detail page, but in the apex_application_templates view and in Shared Components/Templates it is the only item showing as not subscribed.
My guess is simply that the apex_application_templates view does not cover popup LOVs perfectly for some reason but it

I have used computation in form .i have take 7 check box item with value
MON =1
TUES =2
WED =3
THU =5
FRI =6
SAT =6
SUN =7
these item are not database column.
Using computation after submit i have concatinate it and insert in to OPERATING_DAYS Column into table.
example :if i check MON AND WED AND FRI THEN concatenate value insert into table 136
:P6_MON||:P6_TUS||:P6_WED||:P6_THR||:P6_FRI||:P6_SAT||:P6_SUNPloblem is when i edit record but this 136 value of operating days does not come into MON,WED and FRI.
How to extract these days value from OPERATING_DAYS Column into respective Days Item.

which also works fine so far. That same problem I had before when I was using a dialog instead of the popup. - only showing after refreshing the page.
This certainly must have something to do with how JQM loads and renders the page (besides the APEX-job) - a rather basic issue. I have also tried different ways of calling the page, with no difference to that problem.

Apex has been upgraded from 4.1 to 4.2.2. I don't know if the upgrade was done correct or not by the administrator, but I don't have the page edit link anymore,
and anytime I run a individual page from the Edit Application, I have to Log in. Did something went wrong during the upgrade or is this the behavior of Apex now, which I don't think so.

I have an interactive report from a view and have a rowid column that is a link to a page to edit a table.
The rowid value in db is: ABH/WVAG1AAAAF9AAA
But the generated link is:
f?p=XXX:24:9420765805297::NO::P24_ROWID:ABH%26#x2F;WVAG1AAAAF7AAA
And when it loads the page it happens a no data found error (because the escaped characters)
What would be the solution for this problem?

APEX Builder page 4000:37 List view shows name, notes and download columns. The name column should link through to CSS Edit page (39), but instead downloads the file. Workaround: Switch to the icon view, and click on the icon which takes you to the CSS edit page. Can the APEX team correct this, as switching to icon view is not intuitive.

I am trying to use the Apex listener 2.0 (instead of HTTP server). I installed and went thru the configuration of the listener, but I must be missing something. When I do the java -jar apex.war to start it up in standalone mode, I get the configuration properties etc., but when I open up my browser and try to bring up APEX with http://localhost:8080/apex/ I get a 500 - Internal Server error with the info below.

I am new to APEX (well all of Oracle really so only have limited knowledge of PL/SQL etc too) but have created a couple of simple applications via wizards. One of these has a tabular form which works fine for updating records for the table that the form was built over but I need a way to write a record to a second (audit) table as well.
My form is used for cycle counting of items in a location. It originally shows the quantities of all the items in a location and allows the user to make corrections by updating any incorrect quantities to the correct value (this would then update the quantity column in the main table). It then needs to calculate the difference between the old and new value and write this as a record to an audit file (might be a positive or negative number).
do I call a procedure once (on submitting the page) and get the procedure to loop through the changed records writing to my audit file OR do I call my procedure once per changed record on the tabular form, if so how do I know what parameters to pass to the procedure?
I have tried researching this online but can find no easy to follow examples. All examples of code I have seen for tabular forms refer to fields referenced by apex_application.g_f01 or f02 etc - how do you know what items on the page these relate to?

I just created a "Hide and Show Region" from a template in APEX4.2, and would like to control the behaviour of this region, i.e.
1. At the page load, this region should be in "Hidden" mode
2. Once the user Opens the region, it should stay as "Expanded" mode ( even the page gets submitted), until the user chooses the "Hidden" mode again.
So I tried the following
1. Chose the Hide and Show Region(expanded) template for the APEX region
2. uses Dynamic action to force the "Hidden" mode by setting Style as style="display: none;" at the page load event.
But it still shows the region in "Expanded" mode after the page gets loaded.
