Application Express :: Page To Submit Not Found

I am using Oracle Application Express 11g
I don't have a option for "Page item to submit" in Chart Region
i m using apex 4.1, and want to submit page when page load. i tried dynamic action but it continuously refreshing page. is there any other javascript or anything else from which i submit page on load
dynamic action used, event on load and action submit page but it continuously submitting page.
I'm editing, say, list of my employees in a tabular form opened in Skillbuilders Modal Page. I have to execute same javascript code after the changes in the tabular form have been submitted.
I've tried using a Dynamic Action fired on Page Load, but that gets executed before the update is completed.
I have a page with two regions the top region is an html region where users enter query criteria and generate an interactive report in the second region. The second region only displays if there are results from the query in the first region.
I would like to display a "No Results Found" message rather than a blank screen if there are no results found. However, I don't know exactly how to do that. I tried to do it in the Interactive Report region, however, once I added the Conditional display to only when exists rows in the Interactive Report from the query criteria.
I have an Image Type on a forum page. I want a default "not-found" image to display if the BLOB column value is null or if there is no data for that search value. The image is stored with the app: #APP_IMAGES#not-found.png
APEX 4.2 (with listener) on Oracle 11gR2
I am new in apex i create form with report when i create record it submit page to its report its ok but can i change page on condition base.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI have an updateable report based on a collection.
One of the columns is a radio group and is the only updateable column
My code for the column is currently
apex_item.radiogroup(7,seq_id,c008)
I also have a button that fires an update process.
Ideally, I would like to get rid of the button and fire the update, after the user has changed the radio group.
So I changed my code to
apex_item.radiogroup(
7
, seq_id
, c008
, null
, null
, null
, 'doSubmit(''SUBMIT'')'
, null
, null
, null)
If I click on a different radio group nothing happens.
If I then click on another one, the update fires, but with the value of the previous radio.
Do I need to add something else to
'doSubmit(''SUBMIT'')'
I have created two page process with two buttons "APPROVE" AND "CANCEL" button. first page process running approve invoice procedure on approve button and second page process running cancel invoice procedure on cancel button. i want to display massage before approve invoice and cancel invoice (DO you want to approve invoice) on approve button and (Do you want to cancel invoice on ) cancel button.
Working with apex4.1.
How i can show the new added rows to tabular form after submit? what I want is to show my customer new added rows that recently added. but according to how I sort the tabular form, the new added rows distributed in multi pagination in tabular form. I'm not good in English, excuse me for my mistakes. I use apex 4.2.0 On Oracle 11g r2 on windows Server 2008
View 2 Replies View RelatedWe have an application that has "After Submit" and AJAX "On-Demand" processes. We need the "After Submit" to fire and complete first, set an application item (by referencing the next value in a sequence), and then fire the "On-Demand" processes. We have the sequence number set accordingly, with all of the "After Submit" processes given a lower (APEX) sequence number than the "On-Demand" processes; however, it seems the "After Submit" processes are still not firing and completing because only intermittently are the "On-Demand" processes able to access the application item's value--80% of the time this value is simply blank. Making matters more complicated is that the application item is derived from an Oracle sequence, so in my "On-Demand" processes, I cannot simply re-run some of the same logic used in one of the "After Submit" processes that sets the sequence--the sequence may only be set once, and only by this "After Submit" process; we have no choice in that regard. Is there any way possible in APEX to 100% force processes to fire AND complete, one after another, in the order in which they are listed by their (APEX) sequence? In other words, if we have this:
(APEX) Seq Name & Process Type
1 process A ("After Submit")
2 process B ("After Submit")--this sets application item :XYZ
3 process C ("On-Demand)--this uses application item :XYZ and MUST have this item value available to do any processing Can we instruct APEX to fire process A, complete it, fire process B, complete it, and only then, fire process C?
I have a master detail screen where the detail region is a tabular form. I want to create a new master and detail records at the same time. The master uses a get PK process on submit that gets the PK from a sequence.
Obviously I need to set this value in the FK column on the new detail records on submit also, but I just cannot see how this is done. Fine for updates etc, but this is when the master is new as well. A two stage process is not an option here.
i have a html button. With the following attributes: onclick="return false" class="upd_description" A dynamic Action is listening on this button.
Event: Click
Selection-Type: jQuery Selector
JQuery Selector: .upd_description
static_URL: f?p=&APP_ID.:306:&SESSION.::&DEBUG.:306:P306_SER_SK:&P305_SER_SK.
as defined in my button attributes.
Button and dynamic action are on page 305. I can now open Page 306 as modal window but the page will close immediately.
We are using Application Express 4.1.0.00.32 on Wondows XP and Oracle version is 10g. I've created a report in APEX and the user is insisting on putting a header on each page in PRINT of the report which should contain the "from date" and "to date", which are present on the select criteria on top.
Can I somehow add from_date and to_date items in Title so that when they print the report, they'll see the from and to dates in the title?Or is there someother way to do this. The report is an interactive report with a control break and user prints the report with file->print.
In the login page, I want to add a text "Register" that when clicked will send the user to another page to register.
With a button, its simple because its inbuilt there, but I do not want a button, just this: Register
I want also to have the text in color not black.
I am new to APEX and I am developing an application to manage Oracle database user accounts. I have a page (8) that has text items for the username and the database name. I have a submit button (this works fine) that will issue the ALTER USER... statement to reset the user's password and unlock the account. I have another button that should:
get the value of the username - P8_USERNAMEassign it to an application item - FIND_USER_IN_DBredirect to page in application - to page 11
The issue is that FIND_USER_IN_DB does not get populated and page 11
which is a simple report with the following query:
SELECT *FROM valid_dbWHERE username = :FIND_USER_IN_DB;
How do I accomplish this?
I have different public page (page1) and different page for authorized user(page5).Upon successful login after process validation ,computation it should navigate to authorized user page 5 but the branching does work it keeps on going to page 1 .
View 8 Replies View Relatedafter my first Apex installation I have got the above mentioned error. I have tried the following Apex calls:
localhost:7778/apex
localhost:7778/apex/apex_admin
Instead of using localhost I used the hostname or the IP address of the box without success. The whole installation process went fine from scratch. No errors, no warnings, nothing.I am using the following environment:
CentOS 6.3
Oracle 11.2.0.3 EE
Apex 4.1.1
With exec dbms_xdb.sethttpport(7778); I enabled the above port number. If I look at the output of the lsnrctl status I see that my local listener is also listening on 7778. I have no errors in the alert.log and no other trace files where I can have a look at.
Need to create a report based on date ranges and for this created a interactive report and two page item datepicker fields P15_fromdate and p15_todate. Report works fine with this criteria. But user wants one more field quarter(P15_quarter), When they select the quarter the range values has to get reset and as to get applied to report.
Issue here is unable to find a way to set the page range item values based on the quarter field selection
how to reset the page item fields.
if I click button RUN here -> f?p=4000:1500 i have error: ORA-01403: no data found

How could i redirect to an url in apex? I tried with adding google.com in target url but it shows
Not found
The requested URL /apex/[URL]....was not found on this server
how to assign it?
how hard it or even if it is possible to add countries to the list of available for display in the maps build-able by APEX 4.2? We have a set of data to display by country and found that Serbia is NOT in the set of associated mapable countries..Should I try asking Anychart too? Thought Hilary would pickup on this since It involves charting in APEX...
Running on Apex 4.2, Oracle 10.2, Solaris with http server.
i am running the following configuration:

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to set up a PL/SQL dynamic action that is triggered by clicking on a button. The dynamic action sets two values in a table and then I would like to redirect to another page. Setting the values works fine. The code is below:
declarel_information varchar2(255) := :P94_FILENAME;BEGINcommit;UPDATE VDI_METADATASET CREATEUSERLISTNAME = l_information, CREATEUSERLISTON = sysdate();commit;htp.init;owa_util.redirect_url('f?p=&APP_ID.:81:&APP_SESSION.::NO:::');END; The redirect fails with the following eror: "Error: parseerror: JSON.parse: unexpected non-whitespace character after JSON data"
how to redirect to a page from within PL/SQL . None of them result in success.
How do I center a button within a region? I tried 'align="center"' but this seemed to be ignored. The button is at the left of the screen. Also, what are the 'display points' (Page Template Region Position 1-8) used for, and why is there a specification for column position of 1-9? Could these be attributes that will allow my button to be centered on the window instead of on the left?
View 3 Replies View RelatedWe just did an upgrade to 4.2 on a new WebLogic server. We are using the latest Apex Listener as well. The install seemed to go well (no errors during the DBA install) and we configured the Listener to connect to the database using the basic connection settings.I was able to login to the Admin console and create my workspace and users, but I cannot even get the workspace login screen to appear. All we get it is:
Error Error processing request.
ORA-01403: no data found
This is the only thing that shows up when going to the default Apex URL....
I'm trying to setup a dev machine to run APEX with RESTful services ahead of using Oracle's Cloud Database. Using Personal Edition, APEX 4.2.1 and the 2.0 Listener is up and running in standalone more. The problem is when hitting 'Test' on a selected REST Resource Handler, it comes up with an APEX 404 not found error, such as on the example HR REST handlers and a new test one setup.
I've followed all of the APEX and Listener instructions, run apex_rest_config.sql, ensured the various users are unlocked and tried both http and https (even though I've added the no SSL flag in the Listener config per standalone instructions.
Not able to understand what's wrong with the code. I am trying to import data to a table using a CSV file. I have exported the data (CSV) from the interactive report and I am just trying to insert the same data to the table, through a process. When, I tried to do so; its throwing an error message saying NO_DATA_FOUND and file is not getting inserted into wwv_flow_files table.
But when I removed the data from the CSV file for the comments field and then tried importing the file, the process worked. I don't understand whats the problem with the code.
I have a sample app setup in my workspace for this weird problem.
[URL]
Workspace details:
CSV file with comments field and data in it - when trying to import - throws an error message NO_DATA_FOUND
CSV file with comments field and without data in it - tried importing - this worked
I thought this was the easy bit in APEX when you just create a form based on a table, with some validations etc. and use it to insert, update data. However on inserting the first record, I get the following error:
is_internal_error: false
ora_sqlcode: 100
ora_sqlerrm: ORA-01403: no data found
[Code]....
The form is based on a table with a primary key and the primary key is populated from an APEX-generated sequence.
I tried recreating the form, but still no good and now I get the no data error even when clicking "RUN" at page level, so the page does not even display.
Oracle 11g r2, APEX 4.1.1.00.23.
I have some classic reports.
I go to Report Attributes, then I click Add Column Link in the "Tasks" right menu, it adds me a column link, I just add some text for the link and a page to go to. Then I run the report and I get :
report error: ORA-01403: no data foundTested with several classic reports on multiple pages.
Debug mode shows me :
0.43816 0.00240 ...Execute Statement: select distinct [...] order by 3,11 ,4
0.44056 0.00162 print column headings
0.44218 0.04816 rows loop: 25 row(s)
0.49037 0.00141 report error: ORA-01403: aucune donnée trouvée
0.49175 0.00078 Computation point: After Box BodyWhen I run the query in my favorite tool, I get expected results.
Did I missed something ?
