Application Express :: URL On Server 404 Not Found

after my first Apex installation I have got the above mentioned error. I have tried the following Apex calls:
localhost:7778/apex
localhost:7778/apex/apex_admin
Instead of using localhost I used the hostname or the IP address of the box without success.The whole installation process went fine from scratch. No errors, no warnings, nothing.I am using the following environment:
CentOS 6.3
Oracle 11.2.0.3 EE
Apex 4.1.1
With exec dbms_xdb.sethttpport(7778); I enabled the above port number. If I look at the output of the lsnrctl status I see that my local listener is also listening on 7778. I have no errors in the alert.log and no other trace files where I can have a look at.

I have an Image Type on a forum page. I want a default "not-found" image to display if the BLOB column value is null or if there is no data for that search value. The image is stored with the app: #APP_IMAGES#not-found.png

Problem is if I set Application - BuilderApplication xxx - User Interfaces - User Interface Details - Home URL = f?p=&APP_ALIAS.:2:&SESSION. (&APP_ALIAS searched alias for apex builder).

how hard it or even if it is possible to add countries to the list of available for display in the maps build-able by APEX 4.2? We have a set of data to display by country and found that Serbia is NOT in the set of associated mapable countries..Should I try asking Anychart too? Thought Hilary would pickup on this since It involves charting in APEX...

i am running the following configuration:
Oracle Database 11.2.0.3
Application Express 4.2.1
apex_listener.2.0.1.64.14.25 on Glassfish 3.01
Everything works fine except the restful webservices. In SQL-WorkShop when i create a simple GET webservice and klick on "Test"" 404 not found" comes up in the browser.In the log i can see:

I have a page with two regions the top region is an html region where users enter query criteria and generate an interactive report in the second region. The second region only displays if there are results from the query in the first region.
I would like to display a "No Results Found" message rather than a blank screen if there are no results found. However, I don't know exactly how to do that. I tried to do it in the Interactive Report region, however, once I added the Conditional display to only when exists rows in the Interactive Report from the query criteria.

We just did an upgrade to 4.2 on a new WebLogic server. We are using the latest Apex Listener as well.The install seemed to go well (no errors during the DBA install) and we configured the Listener to connect to the database using the basic connection settings.I was able to login to the Admin console and create my workspace and users, but I cannot even get the workspace login screen to appear.All we get it is:
Error Error processing request.
ORA-01403: no data found
This is the only thing that shows up when going to the default Apex URL....

I'm trying to setup a dev machine to run APEX with RESTful services ahead of using Oracle's Cloud Database. Using Personal Edition, APEX 4.2.1 and the 2.0 Listener is up and running in standalone more. The problem is when hitting 'Test' on a selected REST Resource Handler, it comes up with an APEX 404 not found error, such as on the example HR REST handlers and a new test one setup.
I've followed all of the APEX and Listener instructions, run apex_rest_config.sql, ensured the various users are unlocked and tried both http and https (even though I've added the no SSL flag in the Listener config per standalone instructions.

Not able to understand what's wrong with the code. I am trying to import data to a table using a CSV file. I have exported the data (CSV) from the interactive report and I am just trying to insert the same data to the table, through a process. When, I tried to do so; its throwing an error message saying NO_DATA_FOUND and file is not getting inserted into wwv_flow_files table.
But when I removed the data from the CSV file for the comments field and then tried importing the file, the process worked. I don't understand whats the problem with the code.
I have a sample app setup in my workspace for this weird problem.

I thought this was the easy bit in APEX when you just create a form based on a table, with some validations etc. and use it to insert,update data. However on inserting the first record, I get the following error:
is_internal_error: false
ora_sqlcode: 100
ora_sqlerrm: ORA-01403: no data found
[Code]....
The form is based on a table with a primary key and the primary key is populated from an APEX-generated sequence.
I tried recreating the form, but still no good and now I get the no data error even when clicking "RUN" at page level, so the page does not even display.

I have some classic reports.
I go to Report Attributes, then I click Add Column Link in the "Tasks" right menu, it adds me a column link, I just add some text for the link and a page to go to. Then I run the report and I get :
report error: ORA-01403: no data foundTested with several classic reports on multiple pages.
Debug mode shows me :

I'm trying to migrate an Apex Application from one server to a newer server . My custom app I used the theme from Go Live CheckList samples....
Well, when trying to install that application I get 'Insufficient space to install application ' with a BIG red X... I was able to install other Package Application except for the one I need and now my application errors out because of some shared Themes. At first I thought it was a DB thing so I downgraded back to 10g from 11....but that didn't work... Apex works fine...
Other samples work fine...Version Apex 4.2.2 and Oracle XE 10g...

I'm trying to create a web service via the WSDL wizard (Apex 4.0.2). We are behind a firewall and connect to the internet via a proxy server. The proxy server requires authentication with a username and password. How to include the username and password in defining the Proxy Server in the Application Definition page or optionally in the alternate location in the Manual Web Service wizard page?
I assume the base definition for the proxy server is [http://]host[:port][]

I'm having some difficulty securing my Oracle APEX + Oracle HTTP Server environment.
There are currently around 20 Applications running on the APEX Server, and I'd like to publish 2 of them Externally for users.
I have added a certificate to Oracle Wallet Manager to secure the OHS, but I can access all the Applications on the APEX Server by just changing the Application ID suffix.
How can allow only two applications to be accessible via the internet?

I am trying to use embedded weblogic server for creating an LDAP authtication secheme but it is not working
I believe that embedded ldap server works on the same port as the admin server of the domain but configuring it has been a pain. I got the following code from forum to test the ldap connection

we can navigate to this URL in our browser and log in as the SYS user with the associated password, and connect as SYSDBA. Enterprise Manager can be used to perform common database administration tasks... but..,in my system when this procedure is run i'm receiving an error stating that the server cannot be found...

I'm new to oracle and solaris.got a dmp file that I need to restore from. I've managed to successfully restore it in windows but not in solaris. the following command:
$impdp SCHEMAS=<schema> DUMPFILE=<dumpfile> LOGFILE=<logfile>
I got the following error:
SCHEMAS=<schema>: not found
Basically anything after $impdp is always not found. Is there any problem during setup?

I have installed Oracle 11g XE . After this , i have upgraded to Apex 4.2 All it's working fine, but..... by default XE installs and configure apex to use embebed pl/sql gateway.
In this scenario, the images are stored directly in the database within the oracle XML DB repository. This may be a problem because XE have a 11GB limit and my apex aplication is simple, but it may upload pictures for customers, etc, and in this schenma the pictures will consume space in the database instead consuming in the linux filesystem.Can i install HTTP server in a 11g XE and reconfigure apexr?, or can i change to apache+listener? or more easy....can i upload images outside the XML DB in my apex application easily?

I have been learning to create pdf report with Apex 4.2 and BI Publisher 10 which I have been successful with. Now I like to learn how to create pdf reports using FOP thinking of the customers who will not spend money on BI Publisher. I have gone through the documents and procedures described in Java 4 Less. [URL] and [URL]. Configured Apex instance setting accordingly.
For default layout a tabular pdf report is created. I have created an xsl-fo file named Formatted_report.fo on same query and xml file from report query with BI Desktop. But when I try to print a formatted output with Formatted_report.fo report layout it does not work(J4LFOPServer ). but same layout with .rtf template works fine (BI Publisher Print Server).

I want my application to provide an end-user with ability to upload the files from their machine to SFTP server directly. So far, I have managed to write the function which uses java source and allows to upload files from the database. It works just fine.
The function looks as follows:
FUNCTION SFTP_CMD (
V_USER IN VARCHAR2,
V_PASS IN VARCHAR2,
V_HOST IN VARCHAR2,

where V_FILE_SRC represents location of the file to be uploaded. The thing is that the FILE BROWSE apex item does not allow to specify the file location, it identifies it somehow automatically, when you press the button 'Choose file'. The question is how can I catch file's path, so that I can pass it to V_FILE_SRC parameter in my function? Should I write my own plugin? or hack FILE BROWSE item? =)

I'm receiving the error REP-52266, while running a simple script from Forms 10g:
web.show_document('/reports/rwservlet/showjobs?server=rep_fsprod', '_blank');
I previously received REP-51002; searched over the forums,& made changed to the rwservlet properties file by setting my Server,setting the trace on,& changing my host file in windows.
Errors received now: REP-52266: The in-process Reports Server rep_fsprod failed to start.oracle.reports.RWException: IDL:oracle/reports/RWException:1.0
I also tried these commands:
