I would like to retrieve only the latest repair information based on the latest date regardless of the other information, so I would like to query only items 3 and 5 in the following example.

We're thinking of moving from 10.2.0.3 to 10.2.0.5 in our production Oracle RAC. The 10.2.0.5 patch is quite new and I was wondering if any of you have upgraded to this patch in any of your environments and if you experienced any issues afterwards?
I installed Oracle 10.2.0.1.0 in RH Linux 4.5. After that applied patch for 10.2.0.4.0. Everything went smoothly, but at the last steps I unknowingly clicked next button. I dont know whether some scripts is to be run as I did during installation of 10.1.0.4.0. If it is to be done I didn't do that.
How can I proceed now? If some scripts to be run where is the location? Will it cause any issue if I running it after completing the update?
where i can download the patch documentation. Is it available in the metalink (my oracle support)? if yes then is there any other way i can get hold of it?
can we apply 11.1.0.7 Patch Set on a 10.2.0.3 database server? i mean are patch sets cumulative or do i have to install the patch specific to my release the issue is i have the below error with rman: RMAN-03009: failure of delete command on ORA_DISK_1 channel at ORA-19633: control file record is out of sync with recovery catalog

I know that you can view all constraints in a table using $USER_CONSTRAINTS or $USER_INDEXES view. What i find difficult is that the information in those views is not really well presented.
I find it very hard to follow. For example, just to find out which columns are foreign keys and which tables they refer to is really tedious. Is there a simpler way to view all the constraints especially foreign keys of a table and including which table columns they refer to in the child table.
I like to see a diagramatic representaion of all the tables involved so i like to see both the parent and the child tables, which columns are related and using which FKs etc. is there an easier way to view this information?
My boss has assigned me a task to check/audit a existing PROD + other databases which was configured (in a server or servers) by previous dba who have left with no documentation.I am just given the server ip and root password.
-How do you attack this kind of task? -How do you know how many databases were installed in a given server/machine? -How do you get all the oracle_home being defined or used?
Is /etc/oratab enough to start with?Is oraInventory enough to know all the databases installed? Is this keyword unique, and kind be search using "find / -name "oraInventory"?Do I need to find the existent of the "oracle" exec in all "bin" since this is the unique identifier of an OracleHome?
We are using Oracle Applications hosed on UNIX servers. There is a custom form in XXX_TOP/forms/US folder that I need to modify.
My Windows desktop has Forms Builder 10g installed. I ft pied fmb file over from UNIX server to my Windows desktop and tried opening it. I get an error FRM-18108:
Failed to load the following objects: APPSTAND, etc etc.
Obviously I am not doing it right. What is the correct way of modifying a form file sitting on UNIX server, using Forms Builder installed on Windows desktop? Do I need to copy all dependent objects to Windows desktop along with fmb file?
We need to apply the the 11.2.0.2 database server patch and this is a 12i Ebusiness suite env. Do we need to take any precautions(other than stopping the apps) on the APPS side when we are applying the patch on the database?
I have HP server with Windows 2008 Server R2 64bit. I installed latest 64-bit version of Oracle Database 10.2.0.4 and everything works fine and later installed the patch 10.2.0.5 (64 bits) as the Oracle maintains that with the R2 version of the system it is necessary to correct work.
Now, after uploading the patch database starts and closes after about 15 minutes - an additional log file is changed to the binary version which do not see anything.
how to solve problem? The move to Oracle 11 drops.
This is the link to my alert log file (it's strange after 10.2.0.5 patch installation):
