I'm receiving these errors when I try to run my function. The object of my function is to "This function will format the employee's name in the following format:

I'm trying to create multiple functions, add them then minus 1 in a package. I'm at my wits end as to what I'm not doing correctly as the package gets created fine but the package body is giving me compilation errors.

Although this is not exact query what i have doubt in my mind. is it possible to create object types/collections inside/with packages?
I have created a procedure within a database package, but when I want to create a form based on procedure but I can't call it. I think that I have to use prefix, I am a beginner in database and I don't know how to do this.

I must be trying to do a select or put some other value into a variable that is too small. The Odd thing is that when I run the stored procedure again (as long as I don't exit from sqlplus)...

why the process is successful the second (or third, etc) call from the sqlplus but not the first. If I exit sqlplus and then start it again, once more I get the error again.

View 12 Replies View RelatedI am creating prim and phy standby on same WIN machine. I have done with all settings. I can do TNSPING to both oracle_sid.I am trying to connect as sysdba to UP the phy standby. But it gives below error:
