Recently when we rebooted our RAC system we observed that the cluster crs was not able to start. when we try to issue crs_stat -t we got the above error.
# crs_stat -t
CRS-0184: Cannot communicate with the CRS daemon.
CRS-1006:The OCR location /dev/raw/raw2 is inaccessible.
DB Version: 10.2.0.3.0 (Linux)
I have installed 11gr2 on aix 7.1 and we have HACMP active passive cluster . And now i m getting below error:

yesterday we started one of our rac node cluster, but the database didn't start.I'll give the results of ps

i have a problem with DATABASE i have 2 nodes where all application on Node2 are tunning properly

enctl is started but its status shows that EM Daemon is not running.What does it mean?And how can i reolve this error.

I installed oracle 10g in Aix,
>emctl start dbconsole
it shows "the Enterprise Manager 10g database control started"
but when i use
> emctl status dbconsole
it shows " EM Daemon is not running"
and the log file..

I am installing 4 Node Oracle RAC 11.2.0.2 on RHEL 5.5 (x86_64) {for the first time} I am having some issues with ASM monitoring from em console. the +ASM instance appears to be "down" on the em console. However i can connect to separate ASM instances on respective nodes and thus know that they are not down. I am trying to find out the reason why em console is not able to communicate with my ASM instance.

I am also not sure whether this is the error which tells me about the problem why em console is not able to communicate with ASM.

I tried to run emctl to check if the agent for the ASM instance is running:

I have seen in all the forums, that there is a directory named "agent11g". I cant find this anywhere in my installation. Its not there in the grid infrastructure directory or the oracle database directory. what are its contents?, do i need this for my RAC setup?, how to I create this now?
Daily am getting this mails from grid... for the time of 3 to 4 seconds, am getting upto 15 mails saying the message which i mentioned below... In that time period the OEM is not working properly... After 4 seconds then OEM console is working fine..

I have problem after the OAS migration from 10.1.2.0 to 10.1.2.3 , i couldnt use or run report from forms using the run_report_object function.I have the error : FRM-92101: There was a failure in the Forms Server during startup.

im having problems with CRS in a Rac installation. Because of this i cant start the database.I installed Oracle Rac 11.2.0.1 with ASM in a Red Hat 5.8 linux server. Everything was ok until a server reboot. I have 2 nodes, nodo1 and nodo2. Both got rebooted and after that im not able to start the cluster.
All the other resources seem to be just fine .
At nodo1:

I am getting problem while starting the CRS. Below is the necessary details:
1) I am using oracle 11g R2 RAC, with 2 node named RAC1 and RAC2
2) I have 3 diskgroup named DATA, DATA1, DATA2
3) OCR and voting disks are stored on ASM diskgroup
On node RAC1, CRS is started and /etc/oracle/ocr.loc is having the below entry:
ocrconfig_loc=+DATA
ocrmirrorconfig_loc=+DATA1
On node RAC2, CRS is stopped and /etc/oracle/ocr.loc is having the below entry:
ocrconfig_loc=+DATA
ocrmirrorconfig_loc=+DATA2
note the difference in "ocrmirrorconfig_loc". The difference was occured because I updated the OCR location on RAC1 when RAC2 was down.
Now I am trying to repair the RAC2 using below command. This command must be run as root user when HA service is started but CRS must be stopped.
ocrconfig -repair -replace +DAT2 -replacement +DATA1
but this showing error "PROT-21: Invalid parameter", because to run this command diskgroup must be mounted. But diskgroup cannot be mounted until the CRS start. SO this is a conflicting situation.
We have to perform migration for our RAC database to new SAN that is at new data centre. Since OS is IBM AIX, we can take backup from mksysb for VG and and storage will migrate data from OLD SAN to NEW SAN.
But even we restore VG and SAN data but since our old SAN is emc and new SAN is hitachi, so disk path for all the asm disk group will be changed.
So is there will be any way to rename this disk path for disk group..
We have an Implementation of Non-RAC (Single Instance with Existing ASM-RAC as storage) and below is the Details,
The client have a Real Application Cluster configuration on their AIX Server from there Data Center and they want to implement a Single instance Database that will used ASM as Storage and the storage or Disk that they want to use is the same Disk or Mirror copy of the Disk from their RAC Database.
Scenario:
-The AIX Server that they have is a one-way Hardware Mirroring (PPRC) only and it is not designed to run a 24/7 activity.
-DATAGUARD is not an option.
I have 2 node 11gR1 running on Unix, I want to add 3 more RAC node to it. What are all the steps involved and should I first add 3rd node and then the 4th node or I should add both at the same time? is there any difference between these two methods?

1.i tried to locate lidbl.so.2 libraies using locate libdl.so.2 and cpoied to location create soft link but still its the same error.

3)i export the library path in bash_profile but still i got same problem
up gradation steps from 10g RAC to 11gr2 RAC.
