Daily am getting this mails from grid... for the time of 3 to 4 seconds, am getting upto 15 mails saying the message which i mentioned below... In that time period the OEM is not working properly... After 4 seconds then OEM console is working fine..
Agent is unable to communicate with the OMS. (REASON = Agent is Unreachable (REASON : Agent to OMS Communication is brokenError in request response, code = 400 , text = ).
For one of the server, we are able to start the agent but the status showing is UNKNOWN. So all the targets (50+) in Unknown state.
In the grid its in Blocked agent. We tried to unblock and did the Agent Resynchronization for this. At the end getting below error message as
Thread-9668 ERROR ThreadPool: Could not create thread, ERROR=12:Not enough space
In the emagent.log seeing below error

Is there a way to restart emctl agent12 ? if yes, could you provide me the steps / command ?

It comes with the following information

But on Linux Agent,everything is fine.
I have a server with Red Hat EL 5.5 running an oracle database 10g R2 and an Oracle Agent 10.2.0.5The disk ran out of space and I realized that there are a lot of files stating with core.xxx such as :

What's that ?Why are those files generated at $AGENT_HOME/<HOST>_<SID>/sysman/log/ ?
There are more than 24 GB of those files
in nmc.log I can see lines such as:

I have been facing issues deplyong OEM 11g agent on Oracle 10g Target databases. I have installed OEM Agent 11g which is functioning perfectly. Now i am trying to deploy management agent 11g on Target databases which are a Oracle 10g RAC system of 4 node on Oracle enterprise linux 64 bit. Below is the error log..

i have already give the grant option cnnect,resource to scott but it is not connecting to enter prise manager console of Oracle database 11gR1. i am getting this error while connecting "The application requires more database privileges than you have currently been granted. Click on Help to get more version specific information"
when i am giving scott the dba rights then it is connecting. but i cann't give dba rights to scott.so, how/what is the specific command to give permission scott for connecting to enter prise manager console.
I attempt to log to the Enterprise Manager via --> [URL] but I only receive the 'Page not found' error
As this is on a windows server I attempt to restart the service to no avail Also I try to start emctl start dbconsole - whcih also does not work
The Listener is up and running
If I issue a emctl status oms - I receive error Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g Grid Control not installed. Request Ignored.
with --> emctl status dbconsole
output is Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g is not running.

what is missing in this pfile that would cause enterprise manager not to appear ?
In the Oracle Database 10g: Administration Workshop II The chapter 8 excercise calls for the database to be started using the pfile init_sgalab.ora . The purpose of this I suppose is to simulate a memory error.
When I get to the part where I need to use OEM to fix the problem, OEM does not come up. The contents of init_sgalab.ora are :

I am able to login to the database as system user through putty session but I am unable to login using OEM grid control. I get the below error :
Database Error
ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied
I know that we get this error if the user id or the password is invalid. But if the password is invalid, how come i am able to login through putty?

I have to apply monitoring template on my databases. Databases are already added and configured into OEM. They are visible under Databases tab and also under Groups where I have added them.
But when I try applying monitoring template and look for database in search window, it doesn't appear there.
I am having a database running in my windows 2003 server and I want to configure Enterprise manager for that database to check the resource utilization during the peak hours and also the number of transactions...

We have the Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control 10.2.0.5. We recently upgraded our Databases from 10.2.0.3 to 10.2.0.4 and since then we are having this problem.
Whenever i click an Agent on the Grid Control it gives me this error: "Communication between the Oracle Management Service host to the Agent host is unavailable. Any functions or displayed information requiring this communication link will be unavailable. For example: deleting/configuring/adding targets, uploading metric data, or displaying Agent home page information such as Agent to Management Service Response Time (ms)."
I get the same error when i try to configure a host or a database.

I have problem after the OAS migration from 10.1.2.0 to 10.1.2.3 , i couldnt use or run report from forms using the run_report_object function.I have the error : FRM-92101: There was a failure in the Forms Server during startup.

i m monitoring, all 10g by oracle enterpric manager
linux os monitor by Putty software
and i m monitoring below 10g database by sqlplus. now how could i monitor all the database by oracle enterprise manager grid control installed in my system that windows OS installed.
i have change my database name successful but after that when i open my enterprise manager i can open it but i cannot do anything in enterprise manager . i cannot show any tabs there.. i have attached my this enterprise manager login page here

I have two databases on the same oracle 11g install. The first (ORCL) database uses the default port for EM (1158). However, I don't know what the second one uses. I go to the portlist.ini file, but it only has the entry for the default (ORCL) database.
