Forms :: User SYNCHRONIZE To Display Status After Completion Of Every Process

I have a form which will be processing various steps each might take some time. To facilitate the user, I have included some status displaying after every process completed. To refresh the form I have user SYNCHRONIZE to display the status of ever process after completion of every process.
It is working perfectly if am not minimizing the forms screen or opeing another window. After doing anyone of the above and when I reopen the form again, the SYNCHRONIZE is not working and am not able to see the form refreshing after every process as I have planned.
How can we check completion status for running sql query. i.e. how much % completed

I have one requirement.i.e I want to display 'Do you want to save the changes you have made?[YES/NO]' message when record status is changed.In my form if i enter some value to the actual qty(db item) and press 'x' button it does't prompting 'Do you want to save the changes you have made?' message.
For displaying this message i have written following code in the APP_CUSTOM body:

if i write above code in the app_custom body it's prompting the above message.But if i click 'YES' it does't save the records?
Is it possible to get the status of form or block every time? I mean if user presses Enter query key, it should display some status and if user presses execute query key then it should reflect some status. If user update any then it should reflect.
My workflow stuck in Active status and user is not able to proceed further. But it is not happening every time. Sometimes the process activity gets stuck.
On first tab I am taking input (search criteria) on that input i am trying to display all records one by one as user click on next record button....
for that i used when-tab-page-change trigger for first record display and it display correctly.but for further record what should i need to write on next_record command button so all record i can see one by one.
Now i have one problem. I have two database oracle 10g and install on two server (call is A and B). I already create database link between two database. Each database has over 200 tables.
Basically structure two database is same, but database A have data real time, database B is stand by server. Now i want to synchronize all data of database A to database B. What should i do?
db can only be opened if all the datafile and controlfiles are synchronize.I wonder if db crash and we dont have any kind of backup. is there some way to synchronize the control file with the datafile?....any way.db is not idle either when crashes we can manage data lose.just want our database open
I have a series of sql files that I need to execute via sqlplus. What I do need is to immediately exit the sqlplus instance upon completion of the script. Now, I am not using a batch file, nor a file containing script files where I can add the EXIT command.
I have to effectively run each script from the command line as such:
Now this works, but once it runs the SQLPlus window is still open. Now I have an event handler (in a c# wrapper) that is supposed to fire once the process terminates...but of course, this even never fires since the sqlplus process doesn't terminate after running the script.
Is there any any any any way to get sqlplus to run this script and then self-exit??
I have no control of the sql script and cannot edit them to include an EXIT command. I need to run them as is.

Until 65% installation went fine without any issues but after reaching this step "updating '/u01/app/11.2.0/grid/install/cluster.ini",it starts to hung. In the installation log file, I found these details.

I've installed XE and I want to know what accounts are active. If I log in to SQL*Plus as sys as SYSDBA how can I display a list of all user and admin accounts? I want to know who can log in.
I am manually committing the form by writing commit statement in key - commit trigger for some reason.
Everything is working fine. I want to display a message if some necessary fields are not filled properly, like if a user filled half table and mistakenly he press the commit button. Here I want to show him a message that you can't saved the data because the table is not completely filled.
I was working with forms and found a problem related to accessing of status of checkbox. In a block with multi record to be checked, if we want to check all the checkbox status which is already clicked, Then what should i do.
Now i am using the function Checkbox_check as:
if Checkbox_Checked('FVA.STATUS')
But the problem with this function, it is giving status of last clicked checkbox only.
I have a requirement to get decrypted value of national_identifier from database and display in Social Security number, when user queries for employee in employee form of HRMS. Also, National_identifier should be in encrypted format in database table always.
To meet above requirement, I am using custom.pll. In WHEN-NEW-BLOCK-INSTANCE I am getting decrypted value of national_identifer from database and assigning it to :person.national_identifier(database block) by using COPY function, so far it is working as expected.
When user query for employee, he/she able to decrypted value. but if user closes the form it is asking 'Do you want to save changes you made' as there is a change in :person.national_identifier.
Do we have any property to reset record/block status to something like unchanged, so we will not get 'Do you want to save changes you made message'.
- we have user id parameter.can we update the parameter(:parameter.p_userid) before firing "WHEN NEW FORM INSTANCE TRIGGER"(when new form instance trigger contain code for tree node), for login another canvas as per user rights?
- i have created a login form in one canvas.
- also tree node Hierarchy form created on another canvas. now we want to login through login screen, after login only those forms should show in tree Hierarchy which users have rights. for this purpose we want to pass the parameter of userid before connecting to tree node form through the following query

Every thing is working but when we click on button in login form at that time parameter.p_userid will return null. because above code is define on button click in login screen, i cannot understand where i need to define the above code .
I captured the process id of the browser. I wanted to know whether the process id of the browser is dead or not after we close the browser. How can I check the condition for the process id in oracle forms?
I was install oracle forms 11g r2 on windows 7 64 bit and it's work fine , but when i install oracle forms 11g r2 on windows 7 32 bit when i run my form this error appear
FRM-93652: The runtime process has terminated abnormally.
i trace my code , when i use global variable it's cause the problem , but when i don't use it the form run perfectly .
I am using Oracle Forms 10G and I have a button that calls a form in my app by using the
new_form('FRMINIT.FMX'); statement.
When I press the button the runtime process freezes and it does nothing. When I hit Ctrl+Alt+Delete the frmweb.exe process raises its kbs in memory.
In the past i solved that problem. It was caused by a setting the parameter serverApp in the formsweb.cfg to the correct value (serverApp=[URL] ....) but i tried this again and although it is correct the runtime process freezes. Plus, i do not get an error message in JInitiator Console.
I have problem after the OAS migration from 10.1.2.0 to 10.1.2.3 , i couldnt use or run report from forms using the run_report_object function.I have the error : FRM-92101: There was a failure in the Forms Server during startup.

I have one form in which I need to change cursor style to busy while doing some process and after completing that process cursor should get to default.I have done changing cursor style but during its busy state it is allowing me to change values or click buttons.It should not allow user to change anything or click any button.
