I have 2 blocks named emp,emp1 those are DB's Blocks and empno, ename, sal in EMP block and sal, sum(sal) are in EMP1 block, i set the property for sum is summarized block is: EMP1 and item is SAL, i want display sum(sal), but not display when i click execute query.

Invoice wise receiveable amount is as follows

i have multi data block filed. and checkbox field which based on control block...My task is when i check checkbox only one field should enabled and my mouse goes to that field

I am working on form which consist of two block, now i need to know total record in detail block, but in form structure i have multiple details entry aginst 1 master entry and after going for next master entry the details of privious master entry are going for posting that's why i am unable to use the currnt_record function. function to retrive the total number of records in details tab.

Let's say that we have an order entry app and the price and quantity items are already populated. We now want to show the user the extended price (the product of the first two items). the extended price would automatically display after both the quantity and price items are entered. I'm assuming that would require some kind of client-side processing. I imagine server-side processing is simpler, so I'll lean in that direction. I'm sure we've all seen web sites that require you to click a button for the order totals to be updated. I'm okay with that approach, but I haven't quite put all of the pieces together. Here's what I came up with.
A region button was added to trigger the updating of the extended price. The button's "Action When Button Clicked" is to submit the page. Under "Page Processing", a process was created to do the calculation with the recipient of the product being a page item. From debug code in the procedure, I can see that the item containing the extended price was, indeed, modified. But the new value doesn't display in the field and the Session window shows that the value of the item didn't change.
I must be missing something. The debug code says the item value was updated. The Session window says it wasn't updated. What gives? What did I do wrong and what needs to be done to correct this?
The stand alone stored procedure has 2 parameter, an IN and OUT...

This procedure has multiple inner blocks. Intention is to control execution of each of the inner blocks basing on the value of flag field obtained from a "processlogtable". This processlog table has structure as below.

I have the below code snippet at the beginning of each inner block that checks value of the flag and then proceeds with execution of that block. The intent is to avoid redundant call of a block that has successfully executed first time. That is, once a specific inner block fails for some reason, the re-execution of the stored procedure should AVOID re-executing the PRIOR successed steps.
I've the code set up as below, but the prior successed block(s) code gets re-executed again once the procedure is re-executed after a failure.

I have a multi record control block (basically a text item displaying 6 records) where user enters values and I want to process the values using pre-insert trigger.
I want to read value in each record and then do some tasks using a pre-insert trigger before I commit the values. To navigate between the records I was using first_record, next_record, clear_record built-ins but it gives errors like "40737-illegalrestricted procedure next_record in pre-insert trigger".
I have a table where i need to update one field values based on another field of the same table , simply as it is.I have done this using one select all check box , on clicking that all check boxes of item_trans table will get selected , then i will un select some of check box and then using one button, i will update the value of the fields which are checked only.

I'm getting trouble in getting the sum of all the product's prize present in the form fields of invoice form. For example, I user bought 2 products so I want to get there prize sum in the total box. I first want that I've QUANTITY, DISCOUNT and SELLING PRIZE.
If I multiply Quantity with Selling Prize then I gets the result in Product and Quantity Total Box. However, Now I want to add discount option in it. Means if user is providing 10% discount to his/her customer then Quantity * Selling Prize - Discount% becomes a result in product's solution final prize box.

Look...Now here..I've added 22 in quantity.. now if I'll insert 10% in discount then the total will comes in Amount Display Box.

I have created a custom form which fetches certain records. There is a column called invoice_create_flag which is check box. By default when we query this form, value of check box is 'Y'. Another column is Amount.
Initially when form is called, all the records are selected. Hence it should show the total of all the records. Now If the users unchecks any record, System should deduct the amount of that particular record from the total amount.

I am creating a form with 3 blocks.
Control block,
Header Block,
Detail Block.
First i have entered a record in the control block.
Then i navigate to header block,entered the first record for Header Block.
Then i navigate to Detail block,entered the first record for detail Block.
then i again navigate to Header Block..
Now the Problem comes....As i am Trying to enter second record for header block,the pop up comes as "Do you want to save the changes".
Condition 1:i dont want that message to appear for every header record i enter.
Condition 2:For every header record i enter,Corresponding detail record would have been entered.i want that detail records to be retained if i am clicking that header record as i have already created relationship for both header block and detail block.
I created one table with out primary key like well_1 .in that table have have more than 30 columns.

i did code like this in from in search panel. in taht form i will enter uwi and base values and iwill click search button.then it will display all record values in master block .after taht i will click next button then it will display next values(all values).

Em_code is a common key between theses tables.
on my form table 1 and 2 are the base main tables, due to the relationship, when i enter em_code on table 1 and query it, it shows data on both the table. Its a normal behavior in Master Detail block in forms.
When user enter em_code at form and there is no data found in table 2, obviously it show blank data block related to the table 2 and shows data in table 1 block, now i want an em_code details which stores in the table 3 automatically load in memory and populated in detail block. Is it possible ? and how can i do this.
In a Entry Screen I Require to Check the Value is Changed or not in a Block (A).
If the Value is Changed then Require to done some validation in another block (B) for take the final entry date and their after going to another Block (C), here user require to enter Some data in it.
