I have a table with full path and name of a document or a URL.
Users can now open one of these documents by klicking on a link.

Is there a way to make a button conditional on the existence of another app in the same workspace. What I am trying to do is have a MAIN app and several other MODULE apps in the same workspace. Then a button on a form in the MAIN app that will redirect to a specific page in one of the MODULE apps. If the MODULE app does not exist, meaning not installed, then the button would be invisible.

As test I wanted to create a webservice reference to that same page, but receive ORA-06502 PL/SQL: numeric or value error: hex to raw conversion error whenever I test the service. I tried all kind of options.

When I test this service I receive above error. I use Apex 4.1
After upgrading to Apex 4.2 I'm now unable to test Report Queries. Each time I click on the Test Report button via Shared Components|Report Queries I recieve the following error message:
ORA-20001: The printing engine could not be reached because either the URL specified is incorrect or a proxy URL needs to be specified.
I still have Apex version 4.1 installed on a different server and it appears to be working fine.
What is the code/javascript/url behind the test report button on report queries component?
We are having DSN problems using the print url given on the report query. The URL works for some of our developers and not for others.
The test report button on the report query appears to work for everyone but I do not know what is behind the "Test Report" button. If I could recreate the test report button on our page this would be GREAT!

Even the data loader app will get the error if you choose to load a "csv" file. The following appears in my Apex Listener Log (version 2 early adopter). For me it seems that the button cannot be translated to a different language. I have tried to export the XLIFF and there is no string like "Browse...", also I have tried to edit it manually in translation repository, but the string is not present here.

I am using Glassfish Server v2.1.1 with APEX Listener v1.1.3.243.11.40...The Timeout parameters for JDBC settings in APEX Listener are default. Thus I would expect to abort earlier to be an issue of JDBC Connection?

I've just patched a development oracle environment (RAC 11GR2) with temporary patch 8730312. I would like to do same thing on Production RAC. Is it necessary to test all applications on dev environment with this kind of patch before deploy it on Production ?
View 2 Replies View RelatedNot able to understand what's wrong with the code. I am trying to import data to a table using a CSV file. I have exported the data (CSV) from the interactive report and I am just trying to insert the same data to the table, through a process. When, I tried to do so; its throwing an error message saying NO_DATA_FOUND and file is not getting inserted into wwv_flow_files table.
But when I removed the data from the CSV file for the comments field and then tried importing the file, the process worked. I don't understand whats the problem with the code.
I have a sample app setup in my workspace for this weird problem.

Let me explain the scenario which is not working.A Modal region which is having a file browse item based on WWV_FLOW_FILES and a button called add file.
When I click on add file it display a blank page and in the URL I could see [URL]...But actually it inserted file in the table.
I have put wwv_flow* in Listener Configuration for allowed procedures.I have another page where I have a page item which is based on BLOB column specified in item source attribute. And that is inserting file and displaying the pages correctly.
After Upgrading to Apex 4.2
When uploading a static text/javascript file (i.e. filename = 'thisFile.js') the file Mime Type defaults to 'application/octet-stream' (instead of 'text/javascript'). This issue occurs in I.E. 8 but not in Firefox.
