Application Express Listener :: When Click On Add File It Display A Blank Page?

My configuration is
APEX 4.2 on Windows XP with APEX Listnere on Glassfish 3.1.2 Open Source Server Edition.
The database is 11G XE
Let me explain the scenario which is not working.A Modal region which is having a file browse item based on WWV_FLOW_FILES and a button called add file.
When I click on add file it display a blank page and in the URL I could see [URL]...But actually it inserted file in the table.
I have put wwv_flow* in Listener Configuration for allowed procedures.I have another page where I have a page item which is based on BLOB column specified in item source attribute. And that is inserting file and displaying the pages correctly.
Problem is that page is blank and freezed. After another enter in URL page is shown normally.What I find out is that "freeze" happened only in Apex design time ... never in runtime of any of mine app.

The Installation process succeeded.I Used the Installation Guide -> and followed the steps from chapter 3...My problem after the Apex-Upgrade ->
The page URL.... is blank, or say it better, ... there is nothing visible on that page (no Login-Form)The original GetStarted page from XE Database -> URL.... shows an Error Error Error processing request.ORA-01403: no data found

I have a report that contains a name that I want to pass in to a field in a form on a different region on the same page. My button located on the report is has its own column called ADD_LINK. Here is the button.
Once that button is clicked, I have the form region fade in. The region is called Add Tag to Employee, which has P4_ROWID, P4_EMPLOYEE_ID, and P4_TAG_ID. Once the region is displayed, I want the #NAME# to show in the P4_EMPLOYEE_ID.
I did copy this form from another page, where I had it working before. It made more sense to move it to this page for interface purposes, so maybe that tidbit will work as well.
I have select list which has null and other values. I have created a blank HTML region with the following text
Report for the year &P2_YEAR. and for geography &P2_GEOG.
Now P2_YEAR works fine because, it is always populated with a year. However, &P2_GEOG has 'All' as null value since we can see the report for all geographies. However, if the all option is selected, the above &P2_GEOG. shows as null. Since its not a PL/SQL proc, I cannot put in a NVL. I am guessing one possible way is to write a PL/SQL code before region and then check if its null and then try to populate a new hidden field and show, something like that. Wondering if there is a way to do it directly in the HTML region?
My configuration is GlassFish 4 (the same thing with Glass Fish 3.2) + win7 + Apex Listener 2.2 (the same thing with Apex Listener 2.1) + Apex 4.2.2 I get blank page when trying to connect to APEX. But after loggin into GlassFish admin page (exactly login with username+password; just open admin page is not enough) in another browser tab I get proper Apex page with all images.
I have a table which contain 3 columns, see below:
id primary key pic1 blob pic2 blog
there is 1 row in it(id=1), just for display 2 images.
Uploaded 2 images into above Blob fields by file browse function. Now, I want to show the 2 pictures in a Region by using display image item P1_AR, but it didn't work.

I have a page with two regions the top region is an html region where users enter query criteria and generate an interactive report in the second region. The second region only displays if there are results from the query in the first region.
I would like to display a "No Results Found" message rather than a blank screen if there are no results found. However, I don't know exactly how to do that. I tried to do it in the Interactive Report region, however, once I added the Conditional display to only when exists rows in the Interactive Report from the query criteria.
By clicking on a button on my page, I execute a Dynamic Action. That Dynamic Action consists of several True Actions, one of which is Execute PL/SQL code where I execute a procedure. I'm doing this without submitting the page, and that works fine.
However, I would like to display an error message on the top of the page, in case my procedure returns an error, and I would like to do that without submitting the page.
I would like to have a table in HTML region and to display in the table some Page Items from the page.

It shows the Page Item names as text, not the values. However this code without the table tags:

works and the Page Item values are displayed.
Is it possible to display the Page Item values in the HTML table at all or I have to use a different method of showing the values in a table? The above is only a snippet of the code. I need to display about 30 Page Items, formatted in a table with headings.
what kind of region is the best to be used or if I should only use some escape symbols in the table code.
I get an ERR-7621 from Apex whenever I do anything in an application the tries to read a file. For example importing images, css files, themes, or applications. Even the data loader app will get the error if you choose to load a "csv" file. The following appears in my Apex Listener Log (version 2 early adopter). I am running 4.1.1 of Apex and also have another server running the same where the problem does not exist. Following is the log output whenever the load occurs:

I'd like to call an existing function/procedure from a resource template. For example, I have a procedure called 'rest' with an out parameter of 'p_out' - how do I use this within a resource template?
At the moment I have defined the template as type 'PL/SQL Block' and with the 'GET' defined as:

APEX_PUBLIC_USER has been granted 'all' on the procedure. The p_out is populated with a piece of text.
When I call this resource, I get a '500 Internal Error' returned. I've tried adding p_out as an X-APEX-FORWARD parameter, but nothing seems to work.
I'm having an odd problem with a checkbox on a tabular form. I created the checkbox by setting hte display as to "Simple Checkbox". The value of the underlying column sets to "Y" wehn checked and "N" when unchecked. This is what I want. The next thing I was trying to accomplish is to call a javascript function when the checkbox is clicked. So I put onclick="calculateTotal(this);" in the element attributes field. The code that it is calling is listed below. When I run the app and check the box I can seee I am entering the calculate Total function. Each of the alert functions is displaying what I would expect until I get to alerts 'IAH5' and 'IAH6'. For each of those I get an "undefined" in the alert.
So to see if this had something to do with the checkbox and added an onchange="calculateTotal(this);" to another field in my tabular form and ran it. This time I did not click on the checkbox but went into the field that I put the onchange on. When I changed this field and navigated away from it the function worked as I would expect. It displayed the appropriate values for each of the alerts and updated the fields on the screen as designed.

i have a table say 'temp' with 4 columns as seq, name, event, id and i have a pg with 3 text fields as name, event, id now ma issue is,if i enter values into those 3 text fields in that page and on a button click (say create), i wanted dose values to get inserted into 'temp' table andregarding , 'seq' column i hav created a sequence for it. so
1. how to insert values into the table by entering values in the page

I want to pass value "3" to page item P60_KPI_NO and P14_KPI_NO when click on first chart I want to pass value "4" to page item P60_KPI_NO and P14_KPI_NO when click on second chart.
We are using Application Express 4.1.0.00.32 on Wondows XP and Oracle version is 10g. I've created a report in APEX and the user is insisting on putting a header on each page in PRINT of the report which should contain the "from date" and "to date", which are present on the select criteria on top.
Can I somehow add from_date and to_date items in Title so that when they print the report, they'll see the from and to dates in the title?Or is there someother way to do this. The report is an interactive report with a control break and user prints the report with file->print.
I am new to APEX and I am developing an application to manage Oracle database user accounts. I have a page (8) that has text items for the username and the database name. I have a submit button (this works fine) that will issue the ALTER USER... statement to reset the user's password and unlock the account. I have another button that should:
get the value of the username - P8_USERNAMEassign it to an application item - FIND_USER_IN_DBredirect to page in application - to page 11
The issue is that FIND_USER_IN_DB does not get populated and page 11

I have different public page (page1) and different page for authorized user(page5).Upon successful login after process validation ,computation it should navigate to authorized user page 5 but the branching does work it keeps on going to page 1 .
I am using APEX 4.1 to build the application. I have 2 select list region in the page where one region consist of certain values.On calling a javascript function it is able to move the value from one select region to another. After this I click on the modify button where in the value move out of the first select list region to the second will be updated in the table.
Although I could see the values are not being updates. On putting alerts after the value being fetched in the javascript function and clicking the Modify button I can see that no data is being reflected in the alert. Hence the data is not being passed from the second select list APEX item to the javascript function.
I have a requirement wherein onclick of button I want to open/close list/popup (which is displayed below button, just like in select list) and can select any item from list to do some action.
Apex 4.2.0.00.27 I have a page with a Form region and a Classic Report region. How can I automatically save changes made in the Form when a user clicks the Edit link column in the Report? At the moment, when the user returns to the Form, any changes made there are lost.
I have developed a form which has webutil objects in it, and it is working fine on my local machine. When I deploy my form to my application server it opens up a blank page. I have configured the webutils in the app server as per the document and made entries into formsweb.cfg regarding frmwebutil.jar,jacob.jar. Does the dev suite need to be installed in the server for the webutils to run properly?

Need to create a report based on date ranges and for this created a interactive report and two page item datepicker fields P15_fromdate and p15_todate. Report works fine with this criteria.But user wants one more field quarter(P15_quarter), When they select the quarter the range values has to get reset and as to get applied to report.
Issue here is unable to find a way to set the page range item values based on the quarter field selection
