PL/SQL :: How To Pass List Of Values In Where Clause Of Query Parameter

I need to get multiple code values and put it into a variable which later need to pass into the where clause of an sql. But i am not getting any results even i pass those values in the variable of an where clause: below is my Procedure:

In my below query example , i have to pass more than 4000-5000 paramter in "a1.num" in below query. what is the best way to handle this, also if I pass more than 2000 paramter , the query takes a long time to execute. How can we solve the performance issue as well how I can pass more parameter.

I have the following query : for :P_LEG_NUM Parameter when i am passing values like 1,2,5 as string type i am getting invalid number error... I am trying to create a tabular form based on a SQL query, that has a query-based select list with a where clause that references a column in the originating SQL query.
The situation is, I have a table that stores client_id, source_id and build_id, lets call it client_source. I have a second table, build_source, that contains source_id and build_id, with a one to many relationship between the two (source_id of 1 could have build_id of 1-7).
Using a tabular form, I want to select the corresponding build_id to be used in client_source, but the select list must only contain the build_id's for that rows particular source_id.
Here is an example of the SQL source of my tabular form;

APEX_ITEM.SELECT_LIST_FROM_QUERY(1, s.BUILD_ID,

... what I am trying to achieve is that the source_id fields in bold match. When the query is built this way I get an 'invalid identifier' Oracle error on s.SOURCE_ID at runtime.
Is there some special tags that need to be used to reference the outside column?I am running on Application Express 4.1.0.00.32, on a Oracle 10g release 10.2.0.4.0 database.

I have some issues in passing array values to IN clause.
I am passing a String Array from Java to PL\SQL and want to use the Array values in the IN CLAUSE of Select Query
cust_array is the Array
search_id VARCHAR2(1000);
search_id := '';
FOR j IN 1 .. cust_array.count
LOOP
IF (j != 1) THEN
search_id := search_id || ''',''' || cust_array(j) || ''';
ELSE

trying to form a string of below form: search_id '3211335201','3211335209','3211335279','3211335509'
and use the string search_id in the IN clause of the search Query select * from DPP_EMP where empl in (search_id)
but the query does not returns any result
When I try to hardcode the values in the query as below, its returing 4 rows
select * from DPP_EMP where empl in ('3211335201','3211335209','3211335279','3211335509')
How to achieve this (String to the IN clause) or is there a better way of passing the Array values to the IN clause

If I want to pass lots of informations (100 parameter) from standard HR assignment form to my custom form. I am using fnd_function.execute('called form') to launch new form.
I thinking of creating 100 parameter object but not sure it has limitation of number or not. Another ways I googled are shared PL/SQL library or parameter list which I still doubt.

I am populating a time dimension table. One job is to assign business day with sequence number on monthly basis and by year. Business day does not include weekends and all federal holidaies.
I created a PL/SQL block to handle this job. It works. However, I haven't figure out how to pass the month number and year number into PL/SQL block automatically. Now I have to manually enter year and month number (on Toad) to pass to block to make it work. If I create it as stored procedure and write another block to call it, I can pass year and month number into parameter there like this:
exec my_sp_name ('1', '2013');
But all of these are not good enough. I want to use code to automatically pass yesr and month number into PL/SQL block. So that I can make it better. . here is the PL/SQL block I created.

I am trying to perform a dml operation(insert) to insert data into a table. I created a procedure in which a insert statement is generated. In another procedure I am trying to execute this auto generated statement using execute immediate. For that I created 2 variables . First one contain the insert statement and other one contain the list of columns. I m passing these strings to execute immediate like this
Execute Immediate(v_query) using(v_col_list)
after execution i m getting the following error
ORA-01008: not all variables bound
ORA-06512": at ' db_name.load_data' , line no 217
but when i tried it with list of column into using clause it is working like
Execute Immediate(v_query) using col1,col2,col3
I have more than 150 tables in the schema and i am creating a single procedure to load the data into base tables by using external tables. By passing the table name to procedure it generates the update and insert statements but i am getting error while executing the statements with dynamic sql.

I am trying to pass a list of names from one table as a variable to another table and trying to find the Highest level they exist at in the hierarchy. I am having some troubles with the variable and need some guidence and also if this should be a procedure or not.

I have created a stored procedure that checks if a file exists and gets a date from the file if it exists. The date is then used as a paramter. See below:

The above codes works perfectly and I scheduled it using SQLPLUS as follows:

My problem is that I need to pass the date from the above procedure as a parameter to another stored procedure. So I modified my code as follows (the parts in red):
