Forms :: Mouse Triggers Not Working?
Sep 5, 2010why when-mouse move,up,enter,leave are not working in oracle forms 10g except when-mouse-click and when-mouse-doubleclick on any items.
what i need to do to execute this triggers..

Jul 18, 2013There are two servers A and B ,and i am maintaining one table suppose table1 and another table suppose table2 , DML triggers are made for both of these tables.The action of DML trigger is that the movement we are inserting values , suppose a table1 on server A so automatically the same set of value in table2 on server Bso my problem is that the movement i inserted value on table1 on server A ,
the same set of values were inserted into table2 of server B and as the values were inserted intotable2 , the same set of values were inserted into the tabld1 because of the trigger. How to stop the non ending loop which occurs due to the simultaneous firing of triggers and insertion of same records into both the table endlessly...

Forms :: Navigating With Mouse Cursor
Jan 16, 2013i am migrating from forms 6i to forms 10g but i am facing a problem. when i enter to my new form and i try to navigate thru the items with my mouse the validation of the item doesn't work properly. the cursor change position but the functionality works like it is still in the first item. the validation work when you use enter or tab.the same thing when you try to fetch the LOV, the LOV of the first item is populated not where the cursor is positioned.

Problem:When I am using MOUSE and clicking on + or anyother form/report, it's opened last selected form/report or application closed but it is working fine when I am using KEYBOARD.

Aug 9, 2010what name is used to reverence the mouse cursor in Forms. I am trying to state that if the user reaches the last record in a file and clicks the mouse on the empty record below that they will get a message saying they are at the last record (basically so it means they have to manually click an add record button before they can add a new record)
I currently have this:

Where i have <something here> is where i assume the refence for the mouse cursor should go, of which i dont know the name, am i correct?
Another thing is that I have a checkbox that is originally NO but when set to YES cannot be turned back to NO.
I have accomplished this by putting the following code in the WHEN_CHECKBOX_CHANGED trigger and it works fine. However it also updates the checkbox to NO and then back to YES, , as a result this brings up my Are you sure you want to update message. I originally thought that if i took out the :in_active := 'Y'; the FORM_TRIGGER_FAILURE would stop the checkbox being changed in the first place but this didnt appear to be the case. how to accomplish this without letting it update at all (perhaps put something in the WHEN_VALIDATE trigger?

Jul 15, 2011I am trying to disable mouse navigation on data block or text item,. What i want is to my text items in specified block be keyboard navigable only.
The problem is that i don't have that option on text_items or data block (my conclusion: probably because it is not possible to change mouse navigate option for text item or data block).
I have also tried in WHEN-NEW-BLOCK-INSTANCE trigger
set_item_property('block.item', mouse_navigate, property_false)
and
set_block_property('block', mouse_navigate, property_false)
and of course it did not work.

Oct 24, 2013I am working on a form, whose one block is query_find, so on clicking find button it will open another block.the find block contain 4 column and second block contain around 10 column.but the column present in find block are associated to standard tables and the column present in block-2 are from custom tables.there is a query which link those column.
I am not sure where to use that query, so that it will take input from the find block and then populate the result into the block-2.

it calls a LOV and return a value to :block.cliente_no, then execute a query in block clientes, but cursor doesn`t goes to block.codigo it remains in the button ! Why doesn`t works ? Note: if I insert a message before line go_item('block.codigo'); cursor goes to 'block.codigo' (message('hallo');

1- Go to property pallet of an item set "Subclass Information" TEXT_ITEM_DATE
2- In the field properties, under LOV, set Enable List lamp to Yes
3- Set Validate from List to No
4- Create a Trigger "key-list-val" at item level, code the following: calendar.show
5- Compile it and save

If the Value is Changed then Require to done some validation in another block (B) for take the final entry date and their after going to another Block (C), here user require to enter Some data in it.
I am Using the When Timer Expired in the Block (A) for Check the Value and Going Another block, it working till going another after complete the entry Block (C) I have using a Button for move to Main Block (A), but it not going to the consign block and then i put the Message in it, the message is showing, but not going to the block.
