Forms :: Unable To Create Object For Excel 2007 / Windows 7?

The below Oracle Forms code works fine for Excel 2003/Windows XP/IE6 but doesn't work for Excel 2007/Windows 7/IE8.

There is no error while executing the form, by debugging we found that the control skips all the above code.
I'm using Oracle forms 10.1.2.3 and jre 1.6.0_16.

When Running forms on local machine I successfully download data to excel. But when I place this to server (unix), the forms stops in this line: application := Client_OLE2.create_obj('Excel.Application');
I think I have no problem with webutil setup or signing it including the jacob because another form is running on server with webutil functions loading and downloading images (pdf).
The problem is why when it comes to excel I have this issue. When I run the form and the code mentioned above is encountered, the program stops. What I have on java console are:

I am trying to export data into excel (office 2007 and above- .xlsx) using the calls mentioned below, but i am getting an error. i am able to upload data and open the document in IE succesfully using office 2003 format(.xls)
The following are the calls made in the package and it works for .xls format
OWA_UTIL.MIME_HEADER('application/vnd.ms-excel');
The following are the calls made in the package and it is not working even thow i can see that the document getting opened .xlsx format
OWA_UTIL.MIME_HEADER('application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.spreadsheetml.sheet');
And i alos added the call in the httpd.conf file in Apache/windows server 2003
AddType application/vnd.openxmlformats .docx .pptx .xlsx

I have been trying out the new 12c on Windows 2012 Essentials with the same type of errors. The OraDim step fails and cannot create the services. It fails a bit differently if I choose "Create New Windows User", choose a "Use Existing Windows User", or choose the Windows Built-in user.

We have a .NET application on windows server 2008 32bit using the stored procedures on an Oracle 10g environment. We are trying to deploy the .NET application onto a 64bit x86 Windows server 2008.
We face an error trying to install the x64 version of the Oracle 10g client on windows 2008. The error we get is Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: APPCRASH
Application Name: javaw.exe
Is the x64 version of the Oracle 10g client certified for Windows 2008? Has anyone successfully installed the 64bit version of the oracle client on win2008?
We have a workaround in place with 32 bit version of the client running with the 32 bit version of the .NET application on x64 win2008. However to maximize the infrastructure we need to use the 64 bit version or we would have to turn to MSSQL Server .

I have the metadata of an object in one of my database table as xml. I failed to recreate the object in the other schema using metadata api. I developed a stored function to do the above job. My function doesn't throw any error as well as it doesn't create the object.
My code snippet is

We are using erwin to generate Er diagram.But with that tool unable to generate the ERD for specific object.Or suggest any other tool from which i can generate the ERD of specific object.
i.e. Lets take an example.
I have a table with one primary key and 10 foreign keys. So now if i select the main table the tool should draw the ERD based on the Constraints ('P' and 'R') so all the different table which have the relation those table should only display. Right now we are getting all the tables ERD(more than 1500 tables) which is not neccesary.

Can we create TABLE type object by using %ROWTYPE in SQL.
I am bale to create PL/SQL table type object .But i am unable to create SQL type

we are using ERP System based on Oracle DB. I have an oracle client 10.2.0 installed on my machine (Win 7/64-Bit) and trying to create Excel(2010) VBA-Macro to get datas out of the Oracle DB using a SQL query:
On my old machine (Win XP/Excel 2007) following worked fine:

I am trying to return a value of an oracle stored procedure using Excel VBA.

By trying different things I have noticed, that I could have troubles with the ODBC-connection. Maybe I am not using the right one. To store data returned from select statements I have an ODBC-Connection (Driver: Oracle in XE), which works perfectly, e.g.:

Is oracle 10g availble for Windows 7, I downloaded oracle 10g from ORACLE'S website. The name of the file is "10203_ vista_ w2k8_ x86_ production_ db.zip" but when I m installing it, I m getting error at the very beginning regarding the system requirements failure.
below is the message which i receive at the PRODUCT-SPECIFIC PREREQUISITE CHECK

I've been asked to configure RMAN on an existing Oracle 11g R1 database running on Windows Server 2003 (32-bit) & when I connect using RMAN client to the database instance, I'm getting the following error setting the Fast Recovery Area and don't know why:

I attempt to log to the Enterprise Manager via --> [URL] but I only receive the 'Page not found' error
As this is on a windows server I attempt to restart the service to no avail Also I try to start emctl start dbconsole - whcih also does not work
The Listener is up and running
If I issue a emctl status oms - I receive error Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g Grid Control not installed. Request Ignored.
with --> emctl status dbconsole
output is Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g is not running.
