Forms :: Getting Error At Compilation Time / To Insert Images Into Table

I am getting error at compilation time. I want to insert images into table. The code is

I've created a form in 6i that contains many images of type .bmp & gif as i run the form all pictures show clearly.
I upgrading the same form to 10g, as i'm running the form, all images appear blur !!!

i have emp table of 5 columns empno,ename,dept,sal,edit_timing(edit timing datatype is timestamp).and my form contains empno,ename,dept,sal. is if i insert a record into forms it automatically insert the date and timing into edit_timing columns.

I have developed a form based on a database of books. The information displayed during run time is Sr No, Book name,Author, Copies, Description and Image(of the book)
I have written a PL/SQL code to display the image of the respective book for every new record. E.g Book1 should display image1, book2 displays image2 and so on. This should happen at runtime. The code is:

The error i get during compilation is
Error 49 at Line 5, column 37

I am trying to create a datablock based on a procedure , but im getting errors in compilation:
Errors are :
1) identifier 'HSM_WSH_DEL_UTIL.DEL_TBL' must be declared
2) PL/SQL ERROR 320 at line 7, column 27 the declaration of the type of this expression is incomplete or malformed
Heres my pkg spec and body for the data block:

when i tried to insert the details from oracle froms..the data inserts twice to the DB..
my table structure:
create table app_sri
(a_id integer primary key,
p_first_name varchar2(30),
p_last_name varchar2(20),
p_age number(3)
);
here a_id can be genarated through simple sequence(pid_seq)...
trigger on app_sri
create or replace trigger pid_trg

form insertion code..

insert into app_sri(null,'robo','Big',100);
commit
End;
the data inserted...but twice
what is the reason behind the double insertion?

So when we have a physical dataguard setup, can we configure data guard to copy the OS level BFILE's to the DR site?

In oracle 11.2.0.3 I am getting, PL/SQL:ORA-00904 TR_STATE_NAME invalid identifier
but the same code compiled without any compilation error (though column name specified was wrong).I corrected the column name and its working fine in 11.2.0.3 now. Is there any enhancement in Oracle Version 11.2.0.3 in terms of compilation error?

I am having 3 procedures a,b,c. Procedure a is calling b,procedure b is calling c, and procedure c is calling procedure a.There is compilation error in procedure a but while compiling it is saying dependent procedure is uncompiled.

I create databalock - LC_REQ_PO_ITM_DTLS...In design time Insert and update allowed for that block - YES. While i execute query, i write procedure like this

but when i press execute button , then data comes properly on that bloack..but i click on that block, error comes like this - 'You can not create record here '.and data disappearing..

I am doing report migration from 10g report to 11g version 11gR2(11.1.2.0.0). It is not converting into REP when I check the logs . I got compilation error, then I convert 10g RDF to 11g RDF and try to compile it in 11g report builder developer tool, It is giving me compilation error.
It is not allowing me any sql in that proc but if i comment it it get successfully compiled and if the same report i open with oracle report 10g it get successfully compile.
Command using for Conversion:
rwconverter userid=<schema_name>/<schema_name>@tns batch=yes source=<source RDF path> stype=rdffile DTYPE=REPFILE dest =<Dest RDF/REP Path> OVERWRITE=yes

I did an export from 8.1.7 and imported in 10g. All the tables were imported. I created all the users and gave them necessary grants. when i try to compile synonyms for this schema i imported,I get the following error in enterprise manager:
Failed to compile: ORA-00980: synonym translation is no longer valid
I cannot login to my application with these users even though they have all grants. I receive the following error:
FRM-40735:PRE-FORM trigger raised unhandled exception ORA-00942
When i click ok, the screen disappears.

I'm running a query similar to the one that I'm describing below -:

Above query runs perfectly on SQL prompt.Same query, when being run in a Pro*C program gives compilation error-:

I am using oracle 10g to create a user register application. what i want is to insert the user information (like Email ,username, password, etc.) into a table. i am able to insert the data into the table but what i want is to check before inserting that same email,and username doesnt exist. if it does it should return some error like the email or username already exist.

Table A basically has 4 rows of interest, an outside event changes/inserts let's say row 1.
Row 2 and 3 have to be changed in a trigger depending on the new value of 1.(or not if the value stays the same)
Row 4 is the reference for the update and will not be changed.
My first simple AFTER INSERT or UPDATE trigger obviously failed because of the mutating table error.

I have an interface composed of five elements:
1.display_item (primary key)
2-list_item (foreign key) / / dynamic list :this is the cause of the error
3-lis_item (foreign key) / / dynamic list
4-text_item
5-button (insert commit)
when I click the button, an error is displayed:
FRM-40508: ORACLE error: unable to INSERT record.in detail: ora-02291 integrity constraint Violated - parent key not found

i am developing aroom room booking system using forms developer and oracle 9i.
i have used images to show that the room are booked vacant vaccant if the room is booked then a red colored image is displayed else a green colored image is displayed. I have done it retrieving retreving the rows of the transaction table in a cursor. the cursor is written on a trigger (when button pressed).
now i want that if the green colored image is displayed then if the user clicks on that image it should move to the booking form else should display messaage messaage the room is already booked.
