i want to add icon in my form at run time and i m use PRE-FORM trigger
and i use this line for add icon
Win_Api_Session.Change_MDI_Icon(Win_Api_Utility.Get_Active_Window, '.IconsCompany.ico', Icon_Id); and these lines
MDI_ICO := WIN_API_UTILITY.GET_ACTIVE_WINDOW;
WIN_API_SESSION.CHANGE_MDI_ICON(MDI_ICO, '.IconsCompany.ico', 0);
i also attach the "d2kwutil.pll" library.but when i run form this error comes and my forms will be closed.
FRM-40734 : INTERNAL ERROR : PL/SQL ERROR OCCURRED
and my whole Code of PRE-FORM is this...

i am populating 3 records in my data block.i do not want more than 3 rows.but when i click the plus icon in form menu one more row is getting generated which i do not want. i can restrict the new record addition through plus icon in menu bar for a particular block.

Problem is one form that i have to migrate from version 6 throu 6i I got very difficult (for me) error FRM-40734. Happens In WHEN-NEW-FORM-INSTANCE trigger when i try do go_block('NAVI');NAVI block is NOT database block (property set NO)
Database Oracle Database 10g Release 10.2.0.4.0
Forms 11.1.2.0.0,

When When-New-Instance-Form fires on line navi_pck.link_activated(); we go to init(); in navi_pck packageeverything is ok - that mean it is executed without any errorthen when we hit navi_pck.Init();we got error at Bold line => go_block(g_block); that is error not exception (because adding begin... exception when others ... end; does not catch it)
Of course its needed to be done -> mean that go_block, because after it we clear block and work on it.I got 5 triggers on that block NAVE - but tried already to NULL theirs code but didnt solve the problem (didnt try to remove them...)

i want to set the icon on my forms i write these lines.... for to do this...

and i also attached the library d2kwutil.pll and when i run the form then this error raised...
FRM-40734: Internal Error : PL/SQL error occurred..
now what can i do for set the icon at run time..the first part of the message has been removed as it belongs to @allianz2010's previous topic; the rest has been split into a new.

I have a form that the user has to enter a time of an event.
The time entered will most likely be in the past and NOT the current time.
What is the best way to set up a form and a database table for time entry only (exclude the date)?
I have tried datetime on the form with format HH12:MM PM and date on the database.
I have also tried the same with a timestamp on the database.
The time always appears to get entered correctly. However, the time is always stored as AM regardless of what is specified by the user.

I have made one application form where users need to enter some data. This data is getting inserted in four tables. As in for now the data is properly getting saved and retrieved only for one user at a time. But problem arrives when more than one users are simultaneously making an entry and saving the data at one time.Same number is getting generated for the users who are saving the data at one time which should not happen.

I already have and use .gif files for icons on various buttons in my forms. I need to use a different .gif file to create a new icon. When I enter the file name of the new .gif is not displayed on the button. If I reference an old and working .gif. The .gif appears on the button. What rules if any, must I observe when creating/using .gif files as icons for buttons?
Does the .gif file have to be of a special type? If so, what will I need to do?

Tree node icons. I created a table named TEMP_USER_MENU and contains the following structure
USER_IDVARCHAR2(15)N
MENU_IDNUMBER(15)N
MENU_DESCVARCHAR2(150)N
FILE_NAMEVARCHAR2(100)N

Now all i wanted is to change each node icon. This query just make the parent nodes icon to OPEN folder like icon and the leaf node to FILE. You can see the decode query up there. It just chose the icons from the File_Name field when it founds 0 then it shows it's a parent node it makes it icon to OPEN else it make it to NEW.
Fist thing i want to know that from where the form builder is fetching these icons? i.e. from which path and what format it looks like a .png file ? .ico or a .jpeg file. I have searched a lot online but all in vain.
Second thing if i want to add unique icons in my menu tree on each node. Is there any possibility ? if yes. Then where should i keep my icons files and in which format?

I cann't commit form when new instance form with form status is "NEW".
And then i call:
Text_Item := WebUtil_File.File_Selection_Dialog('', '', 'Excel 2003|*.xls|Excel 2010|*.xlsx|All File|*.*', 'Select a file to Import', Open_File, True);
Form status change to "QUERY"
And then i click button "Import Data" from excel file to Data Block. Now form status change to "CHANGED". But i cannot call "Commit_Form" built-in to insert data to database oracle 10g.

I'm trying to call an help file with the following

I want to call a Web form which should upload the image from my local machine.For that I have created a form which will take necessary data about employee now I want to Insert Image for that employee into table as I am new I struct on the Image uploading form. Latter I have seen the Enter & Maintain form which have Picture button.Pressing this button we get one new web form open & we can upload our image from there.

I have FORM_A calling FORM_B: Call_form('FORM_B',...). On form_B I am updating a Record and when I close Form_B and the focus goes back to Form_A, I need to Automatically Reload Form_A to reflect the changes that were made on Form_B.
How can I reload the Calling Form (FORM_A) when I closed the called form (FORM_B)?

I have a column where I have time stamp with date and time(8-May-10 10:20:55 Am) from that i will get only time(10:20:55 Am)[query for this mentioned below] Now i need to append the time to current date and insert into a Timestamps column only .
so my result should be 17-May-11 10:20:55 Am(Assuming current Date is 17-May-11) . I tried search it by i found a way in sql server by using DataAdd and DataDiff .

I have a requirement, is there any way i can achieve the following User Interface using oracle forms
Left Pane: Navigation (Tree Menu)
Right Pane: Based on the node clicked in the Tree Menu, a specific form will be loaded on the right.
The tricky part, is there any way i could load a form within a form ? If i make use of OPEN_FORM, it will open a form in its own window.

I want to convert my forms6i application into forms9i therefore I initially converted my login and explorer form.
In my login form, I am using NEW_FORM to close my login form and wants to activate my explorer form but every time a pop-up raised and asked "DO YOU WANT TO CALL THE NEW FORM?", if I pressed YES then pointer moved to explorer form.
This form is working perfectly in 6i and didn't asked anything and moved to successfully to explorer form.

I am developing a Catalog style application and displaying pictures in an Interactive Report; I can get the Interactive Report to display the Icon view when users visit the report the first time, the report works pretty simply. It has a series of buttons for the Sections of the Catalog and when the user presses the button it fills a hidden item which is in the where criteria of the Catalog, all of this works great with one exception:
When the user clicks the Catalog button and the data in the Interactive Report Changes; the Report changes to "Report View" I would like to maintain the report in "Icon View" only is there a way how I could have the interactive report only show "Icon View".

I created a new form for Oracle Apps, At first when I ran the form from the application all the fields backgrounds were black, so I changed the background in the property palette to white and foreground to black.
Now it shows fine but when I close this form and open another those fields are now blacked out. What should I do, I know the problem comes from the new form.

i have created two data blocks
First data data block contains a list item and a text item based on the selection of the list item and the value in the text item i need to retrieve more than one row in another data block whose NUMBER OF RECORDS DISPLAYED property are set to 10.
I have a Button in the first data block. So in the WHEN BUTTON PRESSED trigger i wrote SELECT INTO clause which is raising "exact fetch returns more than requested number of rows".Then i used a cursor in the WHEN-BUTTON-PRESSED trigger in the first block to fetch row by row and assign it to the items in second block. But i am able to retrieve only one record in the second block.
