I did an application and i used "Bluejay Theme" and found out that the buttons are distorted when viewing in Google Chrome. Strangely it doesn't happened when viewing in IE or Firefox.

When I see the apex dashboard in the IE or google chrome, part of screen goes missing.Last part of dashboard doesn't come but it works fine in Mozilla Firefox.What should I do? Is there some settings I need to do in IE.I am using the IE version 9.0 for 64 bit.

Is there a way to change the Application Builder theme? There are themes for applications; how about for the builder itself? I looked but did not see a selection for this.

We have just upgraded from APEX 4.0.1 to APEX 4.2. The installation and migration of the applications went very well (after installing the patch for the import of the workspaces :-) ). But we have met a problem - we have a Google reCaptcha plugin on 101 page (authentication page). It has runs pretty well on 4.0.1, but after upgrade whole plugin item just has disappeared from 101. Actually it has disappeared from IE9, IE8, Mozilla 16 and Google chrome. The only browser that is displaying reCaptcha is Opera.
why this happened and how we can fix it? The client wants to make some tests this week and we have to fix the situation.
Is there a way I can integrate my customer base (over 100k with address information) to a Google map. High level, I want my user to enter an address and on google map it should show me markers for existing customers closer to that address.

Now with previous applications and themes I have experienced, that some elements are very hard to adjust (like placing a table in the center of the screen instead on the left edge), also when importing other libraries like Twitter Bootstrap, often there are conflicts between the styles, that cause unpleasant results.
Now my question to you is, which theme in the 4.0-respository has a rather new page-html, and is best suited for further customization? E.g. when importing jquery UI.
I know, I still could kick out the theme-css out of the page template entirely, but then some functionalities, like the actions menu on an interactive report, stop functioning.
I have been given the task to modify our company's Apex from 4.1 to 4.2. The upgrade has been completed; in addition, the current UI, blue and tan has been updated to BlueJay. I have noticed the structure of the page gets shuffled as well as contents within modules. What would be the best way to "re-organize" my pages.
- Would it be easy for me modify the page, if so how do I do this. The settings look identical, so what would I change ?
- Do I recreate the entire page from scratch ?
In my app, I am using theme 25 for desktop and theme 50 for jquery smartphone (iPhone in my testing). I am using APEX 4.2.2.00.11. I thought that I could copy a few of the pages using theme 25 and as part of the copy process select theme 50 to create a page suitable for a smartphone.
I tried this for a few pages. The problem is when I attempt to bring up the new pages that are using theme 50 on the iphone, they just show a spinning circle. I've tried with a page that uses a calendar region, another that uses a report region (not IR), and one that uses a form region.
I would like to reuse the icon button template for my button in a tabular form.
I tried to add <button type="button" class="uButton iconButton search"> Click </button> in column link text. I display this column like a Standard Report Column. The result it's not good.
How I can have the icon and button template like in my others buttons ?
I'm developing, or trying, on Apex 4.2...The issue is about themes and how to manage the positions of diferents Display Points of a theme.
Everybody know that any theme have a map where its position all differents parts of this map (Body1, Body2, Body3, position01, position02 and so). So when you choice any theme, it come with all this Display points defined. You can see this map rendering any region page and in the item Display Point you can see this map clicking on the light.
There is anyway to can manage this map and change position or behavior of those points?. For example , I'm interested that under the tabs, to have at the same height, 3 diferentes position, one at left, one at center and other at right.
How to integrate Google geocoding as RESTful service introduced by APEX 4.2? my supervisor wanted to use RESTful service for geocoding function. While I am using Google geocoding through simple HTTP request. I even do not know whether I am using SOAP or RESTful with PL/SQL utl_http.request.

I have a number of pages that use the page template "*One Level Tabs - Content Frame*".End users that use Internet Explorer (versions 8 and 9), when they first visit the application their browser displays it in Compatibility View.They cannot see the side bar on the right-hand side, meaning that often they cannot see a lot of necessary buttons and info!

I am not sure it is possible, nor good practice, to force the app to display in non-compatibility mode.Is there a way to enhance their experience? Or another workaround?
At the moment I am waiting until they log an issue and then informing them to turn compatibility view off, or to use Chrome or Firefox. I'd like to make it better from my end!

I have configured webutil correctly according to its pdf instructions, i run the form-utility which checks wether I configured webutil correctly or not(i found it in metalink) and everything seems to be ok. Webutil runs great in Internet Explorer but I keep receiving the following error in MOZILLA and CHROME:
oracle.forms.webutil.fileTranfer.FileTransfer bean not found. WEBUTIL_FILE_TRANSFER.getMaxTransfer will not work.

My issue is i have 3 locations(Area) following report run only at in house where AS Located i want to run this report at every location.
Can viewing and direct printing the report become same? I always find some differences not in the data but the layout of the report. the layout of report that is viewed on the monitor through internet explorer is slightly displaced and small fonts compared with the report printed directly to the printer without viewing it on the screen.

I can't see icons in buttons. I have a custom smartbar and some custom icons on it, and it get displayed, but when it comes to buttons, nothing. Not even the default buttons that comes inside frmall.jar are displayed. What i don't understand is how do they get displayed on the smartbar and not on buttons?
As you can see, i already have the necessary changes to display icons, such as all small case, changes in formsweb.cfg, registry.dat... I get the icons to be displayed in browser. If i put them on a jar file, the jar file is downloaded as i can see in java cache, but never shows. I already tried several different GIF's, different image sizes, different button sizes, colors, names, etc.
I am trying to open the url from the form and block the form when working on the url.I am able to block the form when working on notepad, adobe and word doc by using the below code

I am using oralce forms 10.1.2.3 and the browser is IE8.
We are using ERP based on Oracle 10g forms, there is icons on the buttons those icons are displaying when we uses the ERP in Windows based client and browser Internet Explorer.But when we uses Opera browser we are getting ERP but icons are not displaying.
Same way when we uses Linux client machine using Mozilla Firefox there also the icons are not displaying.
Refresh my memory if there's a way to display vertical text on buttons in forms?

I already have and use .gif files for icons on various buttons in my forms. I need to use a different .gif file to create a new icon. When I enter the file name of the new .gif is not displayed on the button. If I reference an old and working .gif. The .gif appears on the button. What rules if any, must I observe when creating/using .gif files as icons for buttons?
Does the .gif file have to be of a special type? If so, what will I need to do?
