How to make report high 3.33 inch per page. so if there are more than one page in the report it will start printing in the correct position on the next page,
I have one view which displays the information of all the receipts with date now i want to make ageing report based on this date. the columns will be 0-30 , 30-60,60-180 and > 180 , i want to distribute the receipts qty based on number of days.
1. What is the maximum page size (width X height) of the report? 2. How many characters (maximum) in one line (horizontal) supported by report 10g? 3.How many row per page (vertical) supported by report 10g?
I have a report lay out as follows.If there are 3 engine nos then 3 Engine nos are printed in first 3 consecutive pages and an attachment which prints in next i.e 4th,5th and 6th page.I want the report to be printed like 1 Engine No and its respective attachment in the second page. 2nd Engine No and its respective attachment in 4th page.

Since the column is small it can fit in a page more then one time. I know how to make it print more then once: i switch the repeating frame to print down and across and i modify the frame that contains it so the horizontal elasticity is variable.

I am trying to create a report, but for the second page its trying to print the text from the middle of the page, i.e its cutting half line, suppose if the line has description 'HELLO WORLD 123456' I see only 123456, the whole report is cutting the first 15 characters for the second page?
I have an .xls file which needs to be the last page of an rdf report. I would prefer to not type up the contents of the file and lay them out. Is there some way I can link this to the footer section or any other alternative?

All the reports are skipping one extra page after printing of last page irrespective of number of pages in the report. if same report file is generated and given to printer using dos or linex dosen't skips extra page at end. It happens only if i print the report through ORARRP. The report file extension is '.rrpt'.
I have one report consist of two user parameters like FROMDATAE and TODATE and two queries in data model..
The 1st query is..
SELECT WONO,MCV_DATE,QTY FROM MCSHOP1 WHERE MCV_DATE BETWEEN :FROMDATE AND :TODATE;
It created two user parameters.ie FROMDATE and TODATE.
And 2nd query like this
SELECT MCVN FROM MCSHOP1 WHERE WONO=:WONO OR WONO LIKE 'RW%'||:WONO;
I dont know how to make 2nd query in data model. becoz the WONO will come from 1st query and LIKE command is there..But I tried in formula Column....but it returns more than one row...
how to make a form with report and an insert form in the same page, these two forms are related to the same table. Our customer wants a user can add new row to the table in a form and see all of rows created by this user in a report, this report should provide edit link as well. the problem is: whenever I inserted a new row or edit a row or delete a row, and submitted, and return to this page, all of hidden items lost their values, so report is blank, and some display only items also lost their values.
I had report A which drill down to report B. While drilling down to report B, The parameter form of report B should be displayed which accept parameter code and then open the report B. My parameter form is displayed but not accepting the input. i am using the hyperlink to display the second report. Is there any cgimap.bat file to be configured for the parameter report? Is there any way of stopping the report from executing in Before-Report Trigger.
Actually what i am doing is to see whether some records are present there in the table in Before-Report Trigger on which the report is going to print. Because I am doing some updates in After-Report trigger. I have a report with 4 groups one above the other and there is data such that each group has certain number of records for a particular value. Now what I want is, to have a page break after each set of data for all the groups. Can this be achieved using format triggers ?
