Reports & Discoverer :: Display Text Item In Second Page Of Report

I have a Report With Group G_Emp, having Columns Eno, Ename etc. in a Repeating frame R_1 and I have put A frame below this repeating frame R_1 with a Text Item Just for Displaying Comments, so just i want to display this Text Item in the second page and the Employee details in the first page, the restriction is that the Text item should not print in the first page.
I want to create a report by using one field and one text as columns name in layout but display the all the columns. I mention the 5 column names in query.how can I write function in summary column.
1. What is the maximum page size (width X height) of the report? 2. How many characters (maximum) in one line (horizontal) supported by report 10g? 3.How many row per page (vertical) supported by report 10g?
I have a report lay out as follows.If there are 3 engine nos then 3 Engine nos are printed in first 3 consecutive pages and an attachment which prints in next i.e 4th,5th and 6th page.I want the report to be printed like 1 Engine No and its respective attachment in the second page. 2nd Engine No and its respective attachment in 4th page.
I'm working on a report (written with Oracle report builder 6i) for the SMS system.I want the the report results (list of mobile numbers) to be outputted directly into a text file.I have accomplished that with the following parameters:
DESTYPE = File DESNAME = C:file_name MODE = character
this work well for the first time but in the subsequent runs, the report rewrite the same file deleting the result from the run before.can I manage to have each run result written in separate file with the name formatted in specific way like (sms_parametervalue_date) or something. or at least is it possible to change the system parameter DESNAME via user parameter at runtime, so I can input the new file name into the parameter form.
How to create text file of report in 10g ? In reports 6i having default option in menu bar(mail). When clicking the mail option in reorts 6i it will attached to the outlook and we can sent. but in reports 10g not having that Option . It is possible in reports 10g?
I am using oracle Dev 10g R2 in windows Xp. I have a matrix report and it will produce result correctly as the attachment1. Now I want to display this report as a same format. I would like to display 0 for those that does not exist in the query.
I am trying to create a report, but for the second page its trying to print the text from the middle of the page, i.e its cutting half line, suppose if the line has description 'HELLO WORLD 123456' I see only 123456, the whole report is cutting the first 15 characters for the second page?

I have one report requirement like below diagrams, My report having one repeating frame and one dynamic LOGO field. My repeating frame have 2 field say item_no, and item_name. This repeating frame will grow based on the items say min 1 to max 8 items.

I am Created one Invoice Report with Text Output which as Require to Print in Pre-Print Stationary Page,In it the Total Value is Require to Print Down which as Anchored and It printing fine,But when ever the Invoice Contain lot of Items then the Total Value is Print in Multiple Page, as per user requirement as to Print in Single Page only.
I have text in a display item on my Oracle Form. When my user hovers over the text with my mouse I want it to show my user that the text is active. The text may change color(no tool tip).
I have a table which contain 3 columns, see below:

there is 1 row in it(id=1), just for display 2 images.
Uploaded 2 images into above Blob fields by file browse function. Now, I want to show the 2 pictures in a Region by using display image item P1_AR, but it didn't work.

I got the error below after runing: ORA-20999: P1_AR has to have a valid BLOB column as source
All the reports are skipping one extra page after printing of last page irrespective of number of pages in the report. if same report file is generated and given to printer using dos or linex dosen't skips extra page at end. It happens only if i print the report through ORARRP. The report file extension is '.rrpt'.
I would like to have a table in HTML region and to display in the table some Page Items from the page.

It shows the Page Item names as text, not the values. However this code without the table tags:
{ ECEMEA Request for CQT Assistance: &P1_ECEMEA_ASSISTANCE. ECEMEA CQT Work in Progress: &P1_ECEMEA_WIP. }
works and the Page Item values are displayed.
Is it possible to display the Page Item values in the HTML table at all or I have to use a different method of showing the values in a table? The above is only a snippet of the code. I need to display about 30 Page Items, formatted in a table with headings.
what kind of region is the best to be used or if I should only use some escape symbols in the table code.
Need to create a report based on date ranges and for this created a interactive report and two page item datepicker fields P15_fromdate and p15_todate. Report works fine with this criteria.But user wants one more field quarter(P15_quarter), When they select the quarter the range values has to get reset and as to get applied to report.
Issue here is unable to find a way to set the page range item values based on the quarter field selection
I have a doubt; can we format a particular word in oracle reports at runtime..?

We need to make #BANK#, #ACCOUNTNO# are bold at runtime, Is there any method to format characters at runtime..?
I have an interactive report which contains the columns like
<li>empno <li>Name
In the above i have "empno" with a column alignment of left and a "Name" with a column alignment of left.
Whether it is possible to override the data alignment that we set in the report according to the value of the application item like
If my application item value is US, then i need the column alignment of both the column"empno" and "Name" to be left and if my application item value is AR, then i need the column alignment of both the column "empno" and "Name" to be right. Whether is it possible to achieve the dynamic alignment to the report data of both the columns "empno" and "Name" according to the application page item value.And also in the case of page item i have a page item with a name P1_NAME in which it has a Element Horizontal/Vertical alignment to left.
I need that element alignment of the page item to behave dynamically according to the application page item, like if the application page item is US then the element alignment of the page item has to be left and if the application page item is AR then the element alignment of the page item has to be right.
Oracle 11.2; application express 4.1...I have a table with a unicode clob column into which I insert descriptive text. Within these text entries I have inserted CR/LF (00D00A). However when I display the text entries in a report, the text streams instead of appearing with separate lines.
My report statement: select text_entry_dt, entry_authy_nm, entry_text from obj_text where obj_id = :P41_FIND_ID and text_type_cd = 'DES'
hat to do to obtain line separation within the entry_text content?
