Forms :: Personalization In AP Invoice - No Default Value In Equipment Segment
Nov 16, 2010
in form personalization, I have made a personalization in AP Invoice form if in gl code combination account segment between specific account then there should not any default value in equipment segment.
i did this but now my requirement is
1) if such a combination come it show error but allow to save the work, it should not allow it to save if it show any kind of error.
I have written a package in that package i have written a procedure. That procedure has two i/p and two o/p variables. I am calling the procedure using the below syntax.
I am working on Oracle Apps 11i. Need Forms Personalization.
Client requirement: Selected user should only see Office Phone Number for all the people in the organization when he enters the Phones form.
Means, the client is having around 10 Lookup values for Phones (Like Mobile (Office), Mobile (Personal), Office (fax), Office No. etc). Now, they want to give access to admin, only to update the Phone numbers related to Office. So, when the admin logs-in to the phone form of a employee, that admin should not be able to see other phone numbers of that Employee.
I call the one procedure in post_insert which submit the concurrent request and send the email to specific email address. Now i want to show the message, when email is send that "Your msg is send to ....."
I have a problem validating a multi-record block. I need to put the validation after the user clicks save. The custom validation should run through all the records in the multi-record block. But instead of validating all records, it will only validate the record where the cursor is located before the user hits save.
I've created a form that is working on the basis of Invoice Processing. There I want to get the sum of all the total of the products * quantity..I'm getting this error
FRM-30425: Summarized database item must reside in a block with Query All Records or Precompute Summaries set to Yes. Item: TOTAL Block: SBM_SALES_PRODUCTS FRM-30085: Unable to adjust form for output.
i want to create an report which has all missing invoice no (e.g November invoice posted were from 1000001 to 1000100 how do we check if all the invoices has been entered)
Table INVOICE_MASTER Column NAMe Invoice no Invoice date Invoice Type
why we seem to be unable to report against the ap invoice hold release date using Discoverer in Oracle 11.5.10? the person who wrote our current report used a decode statement to look at the last update date of the release lookup code to create a release date, but i am trying to recreate this in a different tool (Qlikview) and just wanted to understand why we seem to be unable to report on the field as is!
I need to add the calculation of the amount in an invoice line.
I write the item description, the price, the quantity and the tax. Which is the best solution to calculate the total price of the line. I think to add a SQL function after the button “Add line” is clicked.
I am working on forms 6i. I have set where condition in pre-query of a trigger, my requirement is, in post-query, i want to delete the where condition.
pre-query:
set_block_property('HEADER_S',default_where,'STATUS IN (select meaning from XXSMCQSS_LOOKUP_VALUES where lookup_type=''CONCESSION STATUS CODES'' and primary_flag=''N'' )');
post_query: I want to delete this where condition, i just want make execute query normal by removing the where condition.
Is there any property that can be set at design time or dynamically altered during runtime about the default mode in which a form opens? I have created a new FORM in Forms 6i and it opens in the Enter-Query mode. I do not want to open it in the Enter-Query mode. This is because I will be doing my own execute_query on some click of a button in the form. How do I alter this Enter-Query mode in which the form opens?
I been looking high and low for a way to get the default record counter, at the bottom of the window, to provide how many records have been returned by any query.You know the record 1/? or record 1/10 at the bottom.
I don't want to do an: execute_query; last_record; first_record;
Nor do I want to set the "query All Records" property of the data block to "Yes". Both result in the form opening up way too slow. I've a table with a total of 29500+ rows.
I created a tab canvas and changed the background color of one of the tabs. Now I am unable to change it back to the default color.
I tried entering "None" in the Background Color property and even tried keeping the field blank. But it keeps on prompting me to enter a color value. Now it is looking funny with all the tabs in the default color and only one tab in some different color.
We want to be able to send attachments at the invoice header level with the invoice approval workflow email as attachments. The standard workflow does not provide this functionality.
We were able to achieve this functionality using the approach given here:
[URL]........
Basically we added a document type attribute to the notification message, and set a BLOB variable to it inside our custom procedure, which is set as the function for the notification: DOCUMENT_APPROVAL_REQUEST.
Now we are able to see the attachments coming as attachments in approval request emails to the approvers. But the issue is that the first approver on the list, the requester is not seeing the attachments. All the other approvers can see the attachments. We have checked the WF Role for the user and the Notification preference is set as MAILHTML
As far as i can see, same notification and same message is used to send the email to all approvers including requester. Then why only requester is not getting the attachments?
I'm using an 'On-Update trigger' to replace the default Form Builder processing for updated records. When I try to change a column in the form I get: ORA- 01446: cannot select ROWID from, or sample, a view with DISTINCT, GROUP BY, etc.
The on-update doesn't fire. How do I get around this. The block is based on a view.
I am working to understand the space allocation of table with the value we provided with the data type. For that I have created a table with varchar2 and length 50. Size of table created is of 65536 Bytes. This is when we don't have any insertion in the table. Later when we insert some rows, total size if the segment still remain same that is 65536 bytes.
Now again when I created table with varchar2 and length this time is 500 but still it is created with same size that is 65536. So can you just explain, on what values segment size depends on and how the length effect the size & space allocation.
Version: 10.2, 11.2Platform : Unix, Linux flavours
Question1. From googling , I gather that ASSM ( Automatic Segment Space Management ) is a new method used by Oracle to manage space inside data block. If this is the case, then it should have been named 'Automatic Block Space management' . Right ?
Question2.What was the most notable advantage in your opinion in using ASSM as opposed Manual Segment space management ?
While taking backup of schema using Expdp, I got the following error on one of the tables in the schema due to which export for this table could not be done.
Re: ORA-01555: snapshot too old: rollback segment number 2 with name "_SYSSMU2$" too small.
Undo retention time is 14400 sec and Undo Tablespace is Auto Extensible. Table to be exported contains 100 crore rows.
Does It can not shrink in manual space managment tablespace?
I was confused by the error ORA-10637: The segment does not exist
create tablespace test_manual datafile 'd:oracleoradataorcl est_manual.dbf' size 100m segment space management manual create user test_man identified by hxl default tablespace test_manual; grant create session to test_man; grant resource to test_man;
am using Oracle 10.2.0.4 on win 2008 server SP2. I would like to know if we can set the Segment Space Management feature to AUTO for RBS and Temporary tablespaces. As the data is not permanent in these tablespaces, will it manage automatically?
Presently its Segment Space Mgmt is manual for System, RBS, Temporary tablespaces.
