I have a requirement that I need to create a report for absent employee, we have "Hand Punch" scanning system for attendance, when a employee scan his hand it put a record with the employee id, date, shift, & time.
Now I need to create a report for absent employees in date range
I'm trying to create a trigger so that whenever a record in the Employee table is deleted, a trigger will automatically delete corresponding records in the Job History table, then the Employee record is archived to EmployeeArchive before it is deleted. It compiles but with warnings. Here's what I've got.

Note:- I want to print ename and salary of emp using empno as a input but i dont want to declare extra variable for salary , i want to print salary using empno but when i execute this procedure. It gives value of empno in salary. Don't Know Why , how can i print salary of emp using empno as input without declaring extra variable for salary.

i need to find the number of days employee was absent for the month, we are maintaining a table of attendance , where the daily data of hours is captured, what i need now is to capture total number of days he was absent or not present.How can i get the sum of absent days per employee based on given month, as the difficulty is i have to consider 30 days as standard working days for the month , regardless of months having either 30 days (April,June,September,November),or 31(January,March,May,July,August,December) or 28(Consider leap year also february) days.For eg ,If he is absent for 31 days in december then it should consider only 30 days as absent or if he is absent for 28 days in february still it should consider 30 Days as absent.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am using the Report 6i. By using the same tool i created a report. It printing portion is working correctly (that is printing only Half of the page but the next page is move to after scrolled to balance of A4 size). But i want to print with in A4 two pages.
I created using the following property setting....

But it utilizing to print half page and balance is scrolled then new page is start(new A4 next paper).

I have a region with 4 fields - ID, name, address, telephone. A user can search on any one of theses fields, depending on which field they search on the query is different e.g. Searching on telephone is a different query to searching on address. The query will bring back the same columns, so I just need one report.
How do I create a report where depending on the field the user searches on, it uses the same report but different query.
I Have an apex page that display a modal window utilizing jquery. In the modal window I have a classic report with a link column that I want to capture its click event.
I was thinking I could create a dynamic action with selection type=jquery selector. Not for sure if I need to do anything on link column and do not know the syntax jquery selector.
