one of my friend created a form in his PC(which is having the same configuration as my PC) and sent me that .fmb file. when I'm opening that form, it is throwing "FRM-11009 : Failed to load in the color palette" error..
I have checked the CAUPREFS.ORA where Forms.color_mode = 1 and I haven't found 'forms.color_pallete' entry in that file.
I want to convert my forms6i application into forms9i therefore I initially converted my login and explorer form.
In my login form, I am using NEW_FORM to close my login form and wants to activate my explorer form but every time a pop-up raised and asked "DO YOU WANT TO CALL THE NEW FORM?", if I pressed YES then pointer moved to explorer form.
This form is working perfectly in 6i and didn't asked anything and moved to successfully to explorer form.

The absence_type_id = 21 is for 'sick leave'. I can't figure out why this is not working. When I do enter 'sick leave' for a new employee I do not get any checks and neither am I able to save the changes.
My requirement is to call a form through special menu icon from one main form and display some information. Whenever i open a new form it should fetch a record and display where some of the fields should be available to edit. I am displaying a record based on a view.

I am not familiar with form with report in APEX. I have a lot of forms with reports that was created before, but they have only create buttons. Now I need to add edit and delete buttons. I wish I do not have to recreate forms with reports. But when I tried to add delete function by comparing a form with delete button created by APEX, but it does not work. the delete button does not react at all.

I have problems in opening the database of the physical standby in read- write mode/ read only mode. I have a primary server which is running on 2 node RAC and the standby on a seperate single server being used as DR. I recently got this server and my aim was to isolate the standby server from primary server and perform few test. As it has never been tested even once.

I created a master-detail form using wizard in oracle apex 4.2 Now I want to attach an LOV to one of the items of detail form, which is visible on the same window as of master form. Lots of email alerts reporting SQL Loader failures (the data is actually loading) but I want to prevent all these email alerts being fired. We have an SQL Loader script that is failing regularly with this error, however the data does end up in the tables so it must run subsequently succesfully the log files are cleared out quite quickly so it is difficult to track the errors. Why is there no filename just a.day reference in the error log file?
Below is the shell script I do not have much script experience, so I am unable to see how I can alter this...could I add some kind of exclusive lock check to see if I actually have access to the file before SQL Loader tries to Load it?
