As in for now the data is properly getting saved and retrieved only for one user at a time. But problem arrives when more than one users are simultaneously making an entry and saving the data at one time.Same number is getting generated for the users who are saving the data at one time which should not happen.

and my question is when i call a report from form it shows the syntax error or command line.if i give the value MNC 23 MSD (or) LLP 2 MC in forms it run good.But if i give UBS 2" MD (or) ALL 1"MD (or) LKT 11" WIP in forms it through REP-159 Syntax error or command line.

Nov 8, 2011I have added a text field on forms 6i which calls reportAfter adding the new field called "appeal_name" it gave me the desired result for two three times and somehow after that it started to throw this error
ORA- 00933. I did try to find solution on the web and was given the hint that this occurs due to space or indentation in the coding. I have used Ltrim and Rtrim to remove any space when I added the text field "appeal_name", Following code has been added

The path from which I run report through form contains updated report name. When I run report by using Report runtime shortcut then updated report will run. The report path mention in form using run_product also contains the updated file but didn't execute the updated file.

Our customer wants a user can add new row to the table in a form and see all of rows created by this user in a report, this report should provide edit link as well. the problem is: whenever I inserted a new row or edit a row or delete a row, and submitted, and return to this page, all of hidden items lost their values, so report is blank, and some display only items also lost their values.

Feb 18, 2012I have a requirement to generate a report in csv file, attached scripts, sql query and actual output and expected output.
In the query, I am hard-coding month&year, when I run in march 2012 it should include march 2012 in output (similarly for every month going forward), to do that I have to modify my query to include march 2012 & preceding months in every individual query, this report needs to be generated once every month.
I am looking for a generic solution which does not need to be modified every month, also in the output,under "Mail File" data should be in ascending order, in the "Total Mailed" all the months should have grand total.

Aug 12, 2013I have a requirement to create a generic script to generate awr report on the basis of two timings . We are planning to do load test on multiple server. The user will key in the start time and the end time of the load test and the script should round off the user entered time to the nearest snapshot id and generate a awr report. I have tried using the dba_hist_snapshot table fields begin_interval_time and end_interval_time column. However it failed.
The servers are running on 11g as well as 10g and few are in RAC and few single instances.

Structure is like above. There is a Head Quarter (HQ1) under which we have different division like (DIV1 and DIV2). Under division we have different location where our shopping stores are operating and transactions are done (LOC1, LOC2 for DIV1) and (LOC3 for DIV2) respectively.

User can generate reports at two levels i.e. Head Quarter level and Division Level.
