Enterprise Manager :: How To Set A Schedule To Export Data
Dec 23, 2011
I need to create a new schedule to export schema every day for Oracle on Linux Server. I am using OEM, But in Job Schedule of Export Schedule I can not see the repeat option.
I am attempting to make a job on an active database and I keep getting the error "An error occurred checking if the script file directory exists. Correct the error and try again. Error message: Agent Unreachable"
I can't find any information about the error on the logs and I don't knwo what to do about the error. I really need the script the job makes but how to get it.
is there a way to export/download graphs that are shown on Oracle Enterprise Manager? I tried to find some buttons that make it possibile, but I'm unable to find them...
We have OEM and within are some great metrics and dashboards, with key information. We want to post some of these dashboards and metrics on our wiki page and/or within our application dashboards (we use jaspersoft.com/)
We do not want to give our normal users the access into OEM, so is there a way to somehow export these dashboards or access them via an anonymous user somehow?Either the dashboards themselves would be great, or somewhere to export the data the dashboards user - as i can then create the dashboards myself using the data.
example of dashboards/info to use would be: - General, Host CPU, Active Sessions, SQL Response Time, Space Summary, etc...
I am having a database running in my windows 2003 server and I want to configure Enterprise manager for that database to check the resource utilization during the peak hours and also the number of transactions...
i have already give the grant option cnnect, resource to scott but it is not connecting to enter prise manager console of Oracle database 11gR1. i am getting this error while connecting "The application requires more database privileges than you have currently been granted. Click on Help to get more version specific information"
when i am giving scott the dba rights then it is connecting. but i cann't give dba rights to scott.so, how/what is the specific command to give permission scott for connecting to enter prise manager console.
We have the Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control 10.2.0.5. We recently upgraded our Databases from 10.2.0.3 to 10.2.0.4 and since then we are having this problem.
Whenever i click an Agent on the Grid Control it gives me this error: "Communication between the Oracle Management Service host to the Agent host is unavailable. Any functions or displayed information requiring this communication link will be unavailable. For example: deleting/configuring/adding targets, uploading metric data, or displaying Agent home page information such as Agent to Management Service Response Time (ms)."
I get the same error when i try to configure a host or a database.
I have an 11g data pump supplied by another party.I am on Windows 7(x64).I have experience using other databases, but not Oracle. The complexity of it all is a bit overwhelming...
I downloaded and installed [URL].I used the Database Configuration Assistant to create a database:
Template: Data Warehouse Name/SID: database0 Password: password0
I then used the 'database0' Enterprise Manager:
Logged in as SYSTEM/password0 (Normal) Import from Export Files Entire Files Host Credentials: myself (am Windows administrator) All the rest defaults
The job appears to finish successfully. When I look at the schema (using razorsql), most tables seem to be there. However,a significant number are not. When I open data pump in a text editor, those missing tables are clearly there - definitions and data. When I look in the import.log, there are errors of the type:
error in creating database file '/db02/oradata/database0/stuff.dbf' file create error, unable to create file unable to open file (OS 3) The system cannot find the path specified. Failing sql is: CREATE TABLESPACE "STUFF" DATAFILE '/db01/oradata/database0/stuff.dbf'
-- followed by the associated table creation errors.
So, does this mean that unix paths are hardcoded into the data pump, and is therefore incompatible with import into a Windows based system? Or are the paths symbolic, internal representations used by Oracle, and these errors are a symptom of an earlier, undisclosed problem?
The thing is, when I view the schema, the tablespace "STUFF" exists, just none of its tables.
I configured EM grid control(11g) and install agent.when I configured standby database by data guard I got error messages.examine and correct the following error(s), then re-try the operation.
Remote Operation Error - install_driver(Oracle) failed: Can't load '/home/oracle/Oracle/Middleware/agent11g/perl/lib/site_perl/5.10.0/x86_64-linux-thread-multi/auto/DBD/Oracle/Oracle.so' for module DBD::Oracle: /home/oracle/Oracle/Middleware/agent11g/lib/libnnz11.so: cannot restore segment prot after reloc: Permission denied at /home/oracle/Oracle/Middleware/agent11g/perl/lib/5.10.0/x86_64-linux-thread-multi/DynaLoader.pm line 203. at (eval 14) line 3 Compilation failed in require at (eval 14) line 3. I have a problem with my DB agent. it doesn't upload data correctly, so I can't see updated information in first page of EM ( it doesn't show cpu usage, Active Sessions, Listener properties,...). when I checked the logs, I found that emagent.trc shows this error: "exceed max amount of upload data: 77 files, 52M, disabling collections warn : collector : disable collector"
i want to configure my present Data Guard Setup with Enterprise Manager...and on the Enterprise Manager grid control page i am not seeing any Data Guard option.....i am using oracle 10gR2 and Windows XP.

I'm currently having a problem with regards to Exporting data to another server. This is the Scenario:Source Server is Production Server with all of its Tables in the Schema are Version-Enabled.
Destination Server is a Test Server.I exported data from Production Server using EXP command. Then in my Test Server I imported my data using IMP command (I already created tablespace and user for the Schema).Import is successful in my Test server but when I execute my queries, There are no rows returned.
I checked my _LT tables and it contains my data. but when I query from the View created when version was enabled, no result is returned.Am I missing something when I exported and imported my Schema? Should I have included the WMSYS schema when I created the .dump file?
i have change my database name successful but after that when i open my enterprise manager i can open it but i cannot do anything in enterprise manager . i cannot show any tabs there.. i have attached my this enterprise manager login page here
I'm trying to install OMS on AIX and one of the prerequisites is JDK 1.6.0 SR6 but I couldn't find it in the IBM site, can some one tell me where can I download JDK 1.6.0 SR6?
how made a success of insert data into table temporary in job_schedule ? because when i tried to change insert into table permanent always successfully.
CREATE GLOBAL TEMPORARY TABLE YG_PAYMENT_TMP ( SITE_CODE VARCHAR2(100 BYTE), KBON VARCHAR2(100 BYTE), FUTURE_DATE DATE

I am trying to start enterprise manager without success. i used to work after installation of db 10g but do day when i run the command below it fails. also i donot see any thing useful in the logs that am being directed to directory /oracle/Ora10R2/Orahome/localhost.localdomain_dse/sysman/log
I have two databases on the same oracle 11g install. The first (ORCL) database uses the default port for EM (1158). However, I don't know what the second one uses. I go to the portlist.ini file, but it only has the entry for the default (ORCL) database.
When i run EM ,in my explorer show these SID = ORCL
instance is open agent is up but ...listener is down .my listener is active and run.... however i can connect to DataBase and execute DDL or DML transactions. How i could resolve it ?
I have install oracle 11g database enterprise edition But i cannot find the Oracle Enterprise Manager after the installation. i want the gui based Oracle Enterprise Manager i have access the the web base Oracle Enterprise Manager but not the gui based.how to use and download the GUI Based Oracle Enterprise Manager ....
when i install a db using the Assistant Configuartion Database i get no error exept this:
Enterprise manager configuration failed due to the following error - Listener is not up. Start the listener and run EM configuration again. Refer to the log file at C:\Oracle\cfgtoollogs\dbca\emConfig. Log for more details. You can retry configuring this database with Enterprise Manager later by manually running C:\Oracle\product\11.1.0\db_1\bin\emca script.
when I run the form and do some action intheform (call procedure , etc..) how can to see what is the process in running in OEM? Do it have any way to monitor it?
