my above table consists of two columnc sl_no and Status,col1 indicates the process no and the status indicates it is implemented or cancelled or failed during implementation.
i need to find the percentage of the implemented+cancelled process over failed..
test case:
lets consider,
A->count(Sl_NO)
B->Count(STATUS) where STATUS='Implemented'
[Code]..
i think i have satisfactorily given enough data.. make it out using sql query..
How can we check completion status for running sql query. i.e. how much % completed
SQL> begin 2 delete from gsmcrmdw.wc_loy_txn_f_aa 3 where integration_id in 4 ( select integration_id 5 from support_olap.recover_wc_loy_txn_f_953to955 6 ); 7 commit; 8 end; 9 /
I have the following requirement, where I have to display the data based on the group and links when input is given as month. I have written the following code, which is good to display for group. But I want to display for all the groups. CREATE TABLE target_data ( T_LINK VARCHAR2(50) , t_mon varchar2(6) , t_grp varchar2(30) , t_views NUMBER
I am using oracle 10g, i want to know the cost of query. In the explain plan and by auto trace am able to get some query cost, but i dont know how to calculate the query cost.
How i will know the query is costly and take more time..? But i know about the hash table and nested tables in the explain plan. Other than this how to calculate the query cost..?
code = CHAR(5) as primary key name = VARCHAR2(bla blal ba)
There is one-block-form based on this table. Block's datasource type = table and datatarget type = pl/sql procedure
Table API, Module API - all generated, all valid and seems correct. Now.. I try to update "name" from form. As soon as I type in something in the field, I get message "Row no longer exists". When digging deeper it seems that problem raises from lock_prodecure:
DECLARE bk_data CGC$CL_1_9_DKD.cgc$rec_tab; BEGIN PLSQL_TABLE.POPULATE_TABLE(bk_data, 'DKD', PLSQL_TABLE.LOCK_RECORDS); CGC$CL_1_9_DKD.lck(bk_data); END;
It seems, it has some problems on populating the "code" attribute in bk_data.
how to solve this problem without massive re-coding??.
I wanted to make a script for applying the Archived log File in to DR by certain interval.
1) I will use the below view for finding the SEQUENCE so far applied.select sequence# from v$log_archive. 2) But how i can compare with the archive log files available in physical location with the above mentioned view.
eg:- the above view shows, the till the sequence 46789 is applied.And in the DR physical Location available sequences are 46795. which means 6 more archived log files are more, which are not applied into the DR so far.
I have this table column of varchar2 data type. I need to find out if it contains anything other than numbers or alphabets(basically to see if it contains any special characters in it).
I just need to fetch only those rows that has special characters. How do I get this?
I have table emp that contains empno, empname, mgr .what i want is a general procedure that will take empno as input and will give all the child rows and parent for entered empno.
for ex
E A-->B-->C-->D F-->G H
When i will pass d as node it will return c,b,a,e,f,g,h
i want to find the name of user who make changes in the table structure or create any index or constraint or unique key or alter the column? Is there any way to find in Oracle. in which table what change has been done as well?
following Output needed
userid, username, schemaname, schemachangetime, "what_change_has_been_made", IP address or Computername
1) Determine the maximum value present in column FiscalYear, and then the maximum value available for this FiscalYear under the column Accounting Period.
I can do this fairly easy on Microsoft SQL server, but so far was not able to do this easily on Oracle database. My other observation is that using the MAX function on Oracle is very slow (even with thse fields being indexed). Is it possible to run this query on Oracle with only one pass through the table where the returned result will show 2012 for FiscalYear, and 2 for Accounting Period?
I have to find the next EMP whose MAX_SQUENCE needs to be updated with a sequence. In this case the next would be '010' I fetched the EMP who falls after the max value of the column max_sequence in order of EMPCODE.
select emp_next from ( SELECT emp,max_sequence, LEAD(emp, 1, 0) OVER (ORDER BY emp) AS emp_next from test_emp_wip where wip > 0 ) where max_sequence=(select max(max_sequence) from test_emp_wip where wip > 0) EMP_NEXT 010 After sometime, the record would look like :-
if there is any inbuilt function or way to find a row in the table that is having value for maximum number of columns.
For example, the table A has 5 columns (c1,c2,c3,c4,c5) and it has 3 records(r1,r2,r3) and r1 has values only for c1,c2 r2 has values only for c1,c2,c3,c4 r3 has values only for c1
so I should get the result as "r3 has values for 4 columns & it is not having value for column c5".
User complaints fetching data from table A is timing-out ( as per application standards). I decided to collect latest statistics(dbms_stats) on index used by query which is running for more than 12 hours.not.It is partition table and got close to 10 millions records.
1) I checked dba_waiters - no rows 2) I checked v$locked_object/v$locks - no rows 3) I'm unable to run explain-plan for any criteria on that table 4) I'm unable to open table data-tab in Toad/ Sql developer. 5) I'm unable to query a single partition; no error but it keeps on running.
I am writing following query SELECT DISTINCT a.list_type_code, a.list_type_name FROM jls_list_type a, jls_list_control b WHERE b.jalsa_srl = :jalsa_srl AND b.list_no != a.list_type_code ORDER BY list_type_code
I just want to display only those records from JLS_LIST_TYPE which is not present in other table JLS_LIST_CONTROL ... for this i wrote above query but it is not working.
I am fairly new to Oracle SQL developer and I am having an issue that may very simple but I just cannot work it out logically for some reason.I am trying to calculate the percentage of sales each employee has made form the total of trades. I have been trying to use the COUNT function but it obviously splits the counts for each employee. I then tried a inline view but couldn't get it to work and also a sub-query and had an issue with "not a single group function" and then "not a GROUP BY expression".
how I can do this? I will also need to add the syntax to another inline view
Percentage will be calculated as rtons of code not having first digit 0 devided by itons having having code 0 result multiply 100 for the same date code wise e.g. For dated 17-jul-13 meal percentage will be calculated as round((104.304/193.155)*100,3)=54.000
I want to find the Pass rate for each term by adding up the grades.
PASS = HD/D/PASS FAIL = FAIL and Z means no mark has been recieved yet so i do not want to include it in the calculation.
CREATE TABLE DAN_GR (ID VARCHAR2(8), TERM VARCHAR2(8), GRADE VARCHAR2(8), SUBJECT VARCHAR2 (8), STAT VARCHAR2 (8))
[Code]....
So term 1201 has 1 Pass 1 Fail and a Z (which is not counted) so pass rate is 50% term 1202 has has 1 Pass only so the pass rate is 100% term 1203 has 1 Fail so pass rate is 0% term 1204 has 1 Pass and 2 Fails and i dont count the 3rd fail because the stat is 'APSENT' i only want to count the once where stat is 'PRESENT'
In my table three column are there, structure_code, attribute_code and percentage. one project have many attribute_codes, each attribute code have percentage value. The total of percentage value for a project is 100.
