I've created a stored procedure which creates itself a view (a MV to be honest); the instructions to create this m.view are dinamically built insinde my procedure, so each time i run it, based on the different input parameters, i've got a different result (my output m.view can have three colums the first time, or ten the next time) how can I read my output view to put the data into file? I've tried with "select * bulk collect into my_array from my_ output_ view"...after declaring "my_array" as a varying array with the max number of colums I could ever have...but nothing: if the array dimension doesn't match the number of columns that i've on my view, i.e. i receive "ora-00947 not enough values" error.
Is there a method to dimension dinamucally the array to store my data? Or should I change the code to fetch some other way the data i need to put to a file?

I have an Type-object typeObj1 that consists another Type-object typeObj2. this def has another Type-object typeObj3. how to access variable declared inside typeObj3. I have syntax below for each Type.
CREATE OR REPLACE TYPE typeObj1
AS OBJECT
(
SYSTEM_IDENTIFER VARCHAR2(50),
PROCESS_TYPE VARCHAR2(50),
abc typeObj2
)
/
[Code]...
/I have tried to access the type-object in where clause in following way
FROM TABLE(CAST(I_typeObj1 AS typeObj1)) ITTPRC,
......
Where
.......
AND (ADDKEY.ADDTN_INFO_KEY_TYP_NM IN (SELECT ADDTN_INFO_KEY_TYP_NM FROM TABLE(ITTPRC.abc)))
AND (ADTINF.ADDTN_RQST_TYP_VAL_DT IN (SELECT ADDTN_RQST_VAL_DT FROM TABLE( ITTPRC.def)) OR ITTPRC.def IS NULL )
AND (ADTINF.ADDTN_RQST_TYP_VAL_NUM IN (SELECT ADDTN_RQST_VAL_NUM FROM TABLE( ITTPRC.def)) OR ITTPRC.def IS NULL )
AND (ADTINF.ADDTN_RQST_TYP_VALUE IN (SELECT ADDTN_RQST_VALUE FROM TABLE( ITTPRC.def)) OR ITTPRC.def IS NULL )
In this way i am able to access the variable inside typeObj3. But problem is i am getting error "ORA-01427 single-row subquery returns more than one row" when i pass more that one typeObj2.
I passed the values like this in proc execution.
T_T_A_I_V := typeObj3('asdasd',NULL,NULL),
typeObj3('String654',NULL,NULL),
typeObj3('abcdef',NULL,NULL));
T_T_A_I_I := typeObj2('CampusCode',T_T_A_I_V),
typeObj2('PlanNumber',T_T_A_I_V);
What i have done is removed typeObj3 from typeObj2, variables defined in typeObj3 are added in typeObj2 then i got ride of above error. is it correct

I'm trying to create a Materialized View on a remote database from a simple view. The reason is, the data owners don't want to grant explicit tables privileges to external subscribers.
A new schema is created to publish data in the form of a view. I've created mlogs on the master tables, and granted them to the subscriber, but it's still complaining about a missing primary key on the view. A primary key does exist in the master table.
Is there another work around for this situation without having to work inside the data sources' environment?

We wrote one data load process to load GZ files into Database.during process we will change client facing view definitions to backup table so that we can work on base tables.
This view definition changes are related to FROM and WHERE clause (not columns/type). during load process, client/user may connect to current server and accessing these views. My question is what will be the reflection of changing view definition while user is accessing view?
I created a scenario-
STEP1: Created a view-
create or replace view view_01 as
select object_name from dba_objects union all
select object_name from dba_objects union all
select object_name from dba_objects union all
[code]....
View definition is replaced by new definition while select is executing on that view. select returned number of records as per view definition one.

I have a cursor returning some value.
for each value returned by the cursor i need to traverse through 31 rows(1 row per day * no of days in the month).
E.g. if cursor returns service_name as xyz then for xyz there can be 31 rows(service may not be used on some days)
I need to go to all of them and take some values and move them to a flat file. how should that be done?

I have a dynamic query which i want to run till it return zero records.
I am using WHILE loop for that but it is giving compilation error:
The query is
execute immediate ' Delete from tbl_archive_trade_list
where deal_id in (
select deal_id from tbl_archive_trade_list where trade_id in (
select trade_id from ' || main_trade_group_table || ' where tradegroup_id in (
select tradegroup_id from ' || main_trade_group_table || ' a , tbl_archive_trade_list b
[Code]...
I want to run this Query in While loop till the above command return 0 records.
I tried giving the above statement inside WHILE loop but it is failing.
Without the WHILE loop the above statement works fine and executed properly.
