But although perfectly working in SQLDeveloper, RB returns an ORA-942 table does not exist error, pointing at MY_DATASET as the offending name.

Oct 27, 2010i am creating a report using a function in the select query..suppose this is my function that i created in the program unit of the report

and also suppose this is the query of the report

when pressing ok on the query statment in the report it give me this error: ORA-00904 "is_numeric_rep":invalid identifier although when i create this function as a stored function in the database schema and use it in the report it works fine with no problems.

if we try to open the file it shows the below error
"Warning: Opening a report saved with a newer version of Report Builder. Functionality may be lost. Continue? "
Currently we are using "Report Builder 6.0.8.11.3" is it possible to download the 6.0.8.24 version?

I have made changes in .env files adding the REPORTS_PATH in it of the location where my reports are placed.Also have made changes in REGISTRY adding in REPORTS_PATH the same location. But when I press button the Browser window opened shows the error REP-51002 - Bind to Reports Server rep_fsprod failed. I need to run reports from FORMS including ones with Parameters.

This format when opened in Excel does not group in separate columns resulting in all getting mixed up.I am looking a format like,
ProductID,Count,CountUnique,
1001,12,16,
1002,11,6,
1004,16,666,
1006,60,86,
This opens up clearly on excel. items like Product,Count are shown on separate columns along with the value.I am still looking into delimited formatting.

Mar 4, 2008I have a new install of 10g running on xp. All seems to be working fine except for the Db Console. This command...C:>emctl status dbconsole throws...OC4J Configuration issue. C:oracleproduct10.2.0db_1/oc4j/j2ee/OC4J_DBConsole_xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx_LOCAL10G not found.where xxx... is my ip address???
The directory name is actually OC4J_DBConsole_MY-LT_LOCAL10G. My tnsnames shows my host as MY-LT, so I'm not sure why it's looking for an ip address.
I did a search off my oracle home in all .ora and .xml files, but did not see this address listed. I figured there may be a var assigned this ip instead of the hostname but found none.
To note, I do not have a ORACLE_HOME setup. I do have an ORACLE_SID setup (local10g). This is the only Db running on this host.
