Jan 31, 2012I'd like to hide my stacked canvas. This is my scenario, i have my content and stacked canvas on the same window. When i click a button on the content canvas it will display the stacked canvas, this is the code that i used:
SHOW_VIEW('CV_STACKED');
And on my stacked canvas, i put a button close and fired a when-button-pressed trigger,
HIDE_VIEW('CV_STACKED')
supposedly, it should hide the stacked canvas, but it doesn't hide. i tried SET_VIEW_PROPERTY('CV_STACKED', VISIBLE, PROPERTY_FALSE)

Hence I am using content canvas with tab canvas and 2 stacked canvas. The problem is that the design is looking ok on form builder but when I view the form on oracle ebs , I don't see the tabbed canvas .

The Issue is When you show the stack canvas by using Hide_View('Canvas') , the stack canvas is shown on all tab canvas instead of displaying in the first tab canvas.

Apr 15, 2010I develop a form using Devloper9i AS, oracle 9i, Winxp. The problem is: I used icon button at design view ".fmb" but at run time this icon disappears in the file ".fmx" After reading some topics covered this problem in this forum; The following steps are executed:
1-In regedit I put UI_ICON = c:icon --where my gif icon file is located
2-At command prompts i type: C:>jar -cvf icons.jar c:icons Then "ICONS.JAR" file is created on D:Dev9ijdkin
3- I Copy the file "ICONS.JAR" and past into D:Dev9iforms90java
4- I modify the "FORMSWEB.CFG" as follow:
archive_jini=icons.jar,f90all_jinit.jar;
imageBase=codeBase
4- In "Registry.dat" I added the flowing line:
default.icons.iconpath= c:icons
5- I modify the "orion-web.xml" .as follow:
<virtual-directory virtual-path="/html"
real-path="D:Dev9i/tools/web90/html" />
is modified to :
<virtual-directory virtual-path="/ICONS"
real-path="C:ICONS" />
6- In the property palette for the icon item and in the Icon Filename I put just the icon name called "w_prev" Without any extension , any path...

Feb 15, 2010Something strange happens when i give execute query in a form (Oracle Forms 10g.). On executing query, one field disappeared but when i clicked on the location of the field it appeared again. I am not sure if this has something to do with visual attributes/display properties. This is happening only after migration to 10g.

I checked the property palette and the canvas is visible. There is also an other canvas right at the top of the form. How do I move the other canvas down if this is covering the toolbar canvas. i make some modification in a form. The layout color of the canvas is blue. i want to change the layout color of it to default (<unspecified>) (which is the default color).
when i change in the property pallet the background color to <unspecified>. it give me that error FRM-12305 color by this name doesn't exist and i want it the default color.

Aug 31, 2010I need to display my alert prompt right after I detect the discrepancy on amount. I place my code on POST-BLOCK. The problem is, after the query, the alert pops out right before the new canvas where the block with POST-BLOCK trigger shows.
I need to display first the canvas before the alert but seems like the process of displaying canvas is the last job oracle does. So even if I place my code on post-record or any other trigger it will be the same.
