May 6, 2010when i want to start an report i get this error
I check all Forms path and Oracle Path in the Default.env, Formsweb.cfg and so on, everything is ok. I dont understand the Problem.

Sep 3, 2010While running the test form test.fmx available in DevSuiteHome_1 ools , I get the follwing error :-
FRM - 92101 There was a failure in Forms server during startup. This could happen due to invalid configuration.
I have tried to install the software many times after deinstalling but no success. However the same software has been installed on other machines too and is working absolutely fine.

Feb 22, 2008i just compile all the forms on linux server and creatge a envirement in formsweb.cfg file and create my test.env file.
then when i run OC4J and starting my application. it gave me following error
frm-92101 There was failure in forms server during startup this could be happen due to invalid configuration look your web server log file for details.
i also attached the screen shot, you can see it in attachment.

Oct 25, 2008I am using windows Xp environment. Downloaded the software from Oracle website. Database is Oracle Express on windows. Have installed Oracle Forms 10.1.2.0.2 and OC4J also on windows xp Installation is fine and i am able to run forms same day. THe next day i am not able to run Oracle forms, i get error frm-92101 error.
I have tried posting this in various oracle forums and have not got a solution yet. I tried reinstalling. Every time i reinstall, it works for a day (the day i install, i have been able to create forms, compile and run them) but it does not work the next day. THis has happened thrice (reinstalled thrice).

Forms :: Modifying Form On UNIX Server Using Builder Installed On Windows Desktop
May 20, 2010We are using Oracle Applications hosed on UNIX servers. There is a custom form in XXX_TOP/forms/US folder that I need to modify.
My Windows desktop has Forms Builder 10g installed. I ft pied fmb file over from UNIX server to my Windows desktop and tried opening it. I get an error FRM-18108:
Failed to load the following objects: APPSTAND, etc etc.
Obviously I am not doing it right. What is the correct way of modifying a form file sitting on UNIX server, using Forms Builder installed on Windows desktop? Do I need to copy all dependent objects to Windows desktop along with fmb file?

Jun 27, 2012I was trying to delete the database in the test server. When i was deleting listener was already stopped, i continued deleting using dbca, it shown me some alert that datafiles cant be deleted because system could't find database, since listner was stopped so only service was deleted(the one showing in the windows administrator toolsservicesOracleServiceTEST).
All the datafile parameter files are still there. How can i delete the datafiles and parameter files belongs to that database or how to create the deleted service, so that i will start the listener and do the complete deleting of the database.

Jan 17, 2012working on setting up connection between a Windows 2008 server and a pair of Oracle 11g DBs in a RAC Cluster. One Database (let's say DatabaseA) is in one data center, and the other (DatabaseB) is an a secondary, backup database. The RAC Cluster is all set up, working fine, etc. However, I Need to set up the machine.config file on my Windows Server, to go only connect to DatabaseA, unless it fails, in which case, we want it to connect to DatabaseB. Think we could do this if the host app server was Linux/Unix, but it is windows, and I just don't have the background as to the parameters to set up in the machine.config file. They are similar, but different, and we want a very specific behavior (use DatabaseA, unless fails, then DatabaseB). Application is .NET 4.0 app.

We now have PC's new operating system Windows 7 and officce 2010. My procedure reads a specific route where a template in Word which is used to generate the document. In the user's PC application that does not generate the document even shows me an error message. But when I enter my network user with the user's PC and the document genre generates me perfectly. I checked if the user has access to the server path specifies where the template encuntra wish to open and if you have them.

But when I try to run any ".fmx" than an error comes which is attached herewith. Whereas my exprience say, it is an error related to incompatability between Oracle Form6i "ifrun60.exe" and Microsoft Windows 7 32-Bit.

Apr 26, 2012I have oracle XE installed on my machine and it was working absolutely fine for the last year or so. Today there was an trojan intrusion which caused some issues with my windows xp OS like hiding some files, desktop etc. After everything was cleaned up and things back to normal. I am having issues with XE.
1. I can start and stop XE with out any issues
2. When I use the run sql command line, I can connect using - connect sys/sys as sydba.
3. I can also run a query to see all the users and see the HR user also.
However,
1. When I connect to my hr user using connect hr/password@xe, it just hangs
2. I tried the- go to Oracle XE admin page but it just hangs for a long time and returns page cannot be found.
3. I can tnsping the xe instance.
Is a fresh install the only option? or is there any way to correct this using the sys/sys user?

Oct 28, 2011I have windows 7 professional edition 32bit and i have tried to run oracle form 10g on chrome and Mozilla browsers they require plugin but don't install, windows ie8 crashes. i searched through internet about this problem some suggested to use jinitiator, i installed it manually and auto both and also paste the "jvm.dll" but the problem is yet to be solved.
