I have a date field in my form (date.start_time) in which I want to reference in a library and add 5 mins to the time (since its in the lib I am coding this I need to use name_in ). My current code is:
copy(name_in('date.start_datetime')+5/24/60 , 'DATE.END_DATETIME')
However, this seems to be erroring.
I am using forms 6i with 10g data base. i have compiled a form in developer 6i after that when i open *.fmb file it is showing PDE-PLI018 Could Not find Library "form name". i have not attached any library in form.

I have copied all the forms and libraries to my forms directory under C:DevSuiteHome_1forms10g_rel1 from the application server. and placed the following directory in my FORMS_PATH in the registry entry.
Now I am opening up the forms in my Forms builder and running the form. I get this error. I have the attached library in the form but I still get this error:
FRM-40039 Cannot attach a library while opening a form
I've a procedure let us say SALES_PROC on Form Level and same procedure in Library and in Database also.
-How to call SALES_PROC created at Form Level?
-How to call SALES_PROC created at Library Level (.PLL)?
-How to call SALES_PROC created as stored procedure in Database?

I set it's Format Mask property to 9,99,99,99,99,999 so that I can format it comma separated and to restrict the user to enter decimal values. If the user enter any format other than this for example any decimal values, it is showing the message FRM-40209:Field must be of the form 9,99,99,99,99,999 which is fine. But when the user enters a decimal value and try to save the form it pop up this message several times.
I tried to catch this error in ON-ERROR trigger and display a message. But this is also pop up several times. I tried to raise form_trigger_failure also. This is also not working. I want this error message to come only once.
i have one multiple record field in frm....contain 5 field.....now i display the values...3 fields have values and two are empty...
the value of 1st field is A
2nd field is B
3rd field is C
i want if i click B it will open another form,
i want if i click c it will open another form,
I got an error FRM-40202: Field must be entered. I did some modifications to Standard form by copying it. after that when I selected the first Email check box in the list and then selected the Email button which I created newly for that form.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI searched the forum but could not find an answer. I am creating an extract via SPOOL that will send the output to a CSV file. I am comfortable concatenating commas in between the fields, the problem lies in text fields such as last_name which may contain a comma. The requirements of my client state to put double quotes around text fields ONLY if they contain a comma (so as not to throw off the CSV file obviously).
The only thing I could think of was a nested DECODE checked every character of every text field for a , and if it finds one to put " and if not to put nothing. This would get very tedious to program it as there are many text fields and they can be very long. I may even run out of nested DECODE statements (I forget what the limit is now).

I have a column where I have time stamp with date and time(8-May-10 10:20:55 Am) from that i will get only time(10:20:55 Am)[query for this mentioned below] Now i need to append the time to current date and insert into a Timestamps column only .
so my result should be 17-May-11 10:20:55 Am(Assuming current Date is 17-May-11) . I tried search it by i found a way in sql server by using DataAdd and DataDiff .

Recently I came across a problem that 'ORACLE Client Side Disconnect every 5mins in app server' these days.
Situation: We have 3 APP servers, which was configured the same OS and ORACLE Client version and 1 DB server. 2 app servers ORACLE Client Side Disconnect every 5mins.but it's ok in another App server.
1. both Oracle SQL PLUS and PLSQL have this problem.
2. SQLNET.EXPIRE_TIME is the same for 3 APP
3. 2 APP server are virtual machine and balance server
3. APP servers : OS: 2003 Server ORACLE 9i
DB server : ORACLE 11g
4. I don't think it's DB server problem because one App server hasn't this problem
How to use the DLL? My DLL is loaded on the client host in the C: Documents and Settings USER webutil. When you try turning to the library, I get an error:
WUL-928 [CApiFunctions.set_invokeoncespec ()] EXAMPLE.DLL library is not available or does not contain a function MYFUNCTION
FRM-10102: Cannot attach PL/SQL library XXX. This library attachment will be lost if the module is saved.I am getting above error message while opening Oracle 6i Form in 10g.
I get the following Alert message when I try to attach the library to my form - Attached library name S:.........xxx.pll contains non-portable directory specification. Remove path? Yes/No?
If I select 'No', the Form compiles and runs without any error.But if I select 'Yes', I get the following error message: FRM-40039: Cannot attach library xxx while opening form.
All files (fmb, fmx, pll, plx) are on the same path. I detached and then re-attached the library but this didn't work for me?

And then i call:

Ok this is fixed.But if I have an integer without decimal. 1 => 1.0
If I change the mask to FM990D9999 1=> 1.
I would like to have a zero leading when it's 0.49 but also no decimal when it's an integer => 1
