I would like to convert some existing application popup LOV items that currently use a static list for the LOV values.I have not been able to find instructions on how to use the existing popup static list (or create a new static list) with the new SuperLOV plug-in. Is this possible to do?
If an example or instructions are available, a link to these.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI'm editing, say, list of my employees in a tabular form opened in Skillbuilders Modal Page. I have to execute same javascript code after the changes in the tabular form have been submitted.
I've tried using a Dynamic Action fired on Page Load, but that gets executed before the update is completed.
We have just upgraded from APEX 4.0.1 to APEX 4.2. The installation and migration of the applications went very well (after installing the patch for the import of the workspaces :-) ). But we have met a problem - we have a Google reCaptcha plugin on 101 page (authentication page). It has runs pretty well on 4.0.1, but after upgrade whole plugin item just has disappeared from 101. Actually it has disappeared from IE9, IE8, Mozilla 16 and Google chrome. The only browser that is displaying reCaptcha is Opera.
why this happened and how we can fix it? The client wants to make some tests this week and we have to fix the situation.

I implemented the re Captcha plugin and it works ok. What I want to do is, on the same page where the captcha is displayed, to have a report region that is displayed conditionally based on the captcha result.
More specifically, the page has two items for user input (the captcha and a text item) and a Submit button. If the captcha is successful, then the text item will be submitted and the region displayed. The problem I'm running into is that the text item is always submitted regardless of the captcha.

I have a calendar region using SkillBuilders plug-in. When click on an event, a modal page opens showing the event details and allowing the user to modify it. Recently, I enabled Session State Protection in my pages, so I changed my query in the calendar region to use the APEX_UTIL.PREPARE_URL function when generating the URL to edit the event. Now, when I click on an event, the URL looks like: [URL]....

When using this awesome plugin, I have a dynamic action on my calling page that deals with the selection from the dialog.
It uses

where the js expression is making sure I run the correct dynamic action, particularly when I have a few buttons on the page invoking different variations of the modal dialog.
My first action is some javascript that interrogates the value of this.data.modalPageCloseValue this facilitates me make decisions in later actions on whether to run some pl/sql, for instance.

We took a look at static_file.sql, and noticed this:

The comma is missing after the p_flow_id parameter. This appears to be a bug in the export. It appears to be happening pretty consistently (other static files for this application, other static files for other existing applications).
I did a search of the forum to see if this issue reported this and checked listing on OTN and I don't see any reference to this particular issue. We're hesitant to just add the comma right now since we don't know whether there may be any other issues in the file it's generating.
After Upgrading to Apex 4.2
When uploading a static text/javascript file (i.e. filename = 'thisFile.js') the file Mime Type defaults to 'application/octet-stream' (instead of 'text/javascript'). This issue occurs in I.E. 8 but not in Firefox.

I have to review an application that has been developed in German and should be rendered in both German and English. So the previous developer has defined the application texts in German and has defined a translated application in English.
The problem is : there is a List Manager in a page that contains two buttons (Add / Remove). They are still defined with English text in the main application (German) and I cannot find any properties to change this.
The list manager also opens a popup with two other buttons. And the problem is the same. Do you any other solution than renaming every elements from the main application in English and then translate it in German?
I guess I can use a dynamic action to redefine the two visible buttons text. But it will not solve the problem for the popup buttons.
I am using Apex 4.1 and I have a select list in my page. I know i can access the value of the selected item by :P1_SelectList, but I would like to know how to access the display value of the selected item.

I have a 'Select List' widget (P_FILTER) which I have set to return multiple values. In my report region, I have something like this
Select A from B where B.Col_1 IN upper(:P_FILTER)
When user selects only 1 value, the report is correct but if user selects more than 1 value (e.g. 2), the report does not return any rows. How do I get the report to recognize the multiple values returned by the LOV?
I created list of values like Bar chart,Column Chart,Pie Chart.these list of values added to the text field named as Chat type. In same region i created 3 chart sub regions.
