select sbrueregister.UEIMSI,sbrueregister.fapid,sbrfapslid.slid,sbrfapslid.ACTIVATION_TS,sbrfapslid.DEACTIVATION_TS from SBRFAPSLID INNER JOIN sbrueregister ON sbrfapslid.fapid=sbrueregister.fapid where sbrfapslid.slid='1234567890' and sbrueregister.registeredat between TO_DATE('2013-02-1.12.0. 10. 123000000','YYYY-MM-DD HH.MI.SS.SSSSSS')and TO_DATE('2013-02-1.12.9.10.123000000', 'YYYY-MM-DD HH.MI.SS.SSSSSS');

I am trying to Spool the data in pipe delimitted csv file but some of the records going on another line from the same records. Currently some of the data going to next line as below oulined in the 2nd and 3rd line (in bold - |Home & Family) . I have following sql setting in my spool file:
set linesize 4000 pagesize 0 trimspool on feedback off verify off echo off set define off spool Stk_hold_Sec_Tsk.csv
I tried increase linesize to 5000 but its not working. Ex.
PSS:Production Manager|ZS:PsS:PP:PROD_TCODES|P2S: PP - Production Transactions|House & street PSS:Production Manager|ZC:BW:PsS_RPT_MGR|BW PsS Reports Manager |House & street
PsS:Production Manager|ZC:BW:PsS_RPT_USER|BW PsS Reports User |House & street
PsS:Master Data (PDMs)|ZS:GEN:GENERAL_USER|GEN: General User|House & street
Data should be like into the file:
PSS:Production Manager|ZS:PsS:PP:PROD_TCODES|P2S: PP - Production Transactions|House & street PSS:Production Manager|ZC:BW:PsS_RPT_MGR|BW PsS Reports Manager|House & street PsS:Production Manager|ZC:BW:PsS_RPT_USER|BW PsS Reports User|House & street PsS:Master Data (PDMs)|ZS:GEN:GENERAL_USER|GEN: General User|House & street
I think it should be something with linesize or pagesize but not sure
I have a task to code a procedure and function in sql developer that will extract data within a date range (Jan 1 to April 3) from a source (source_name: expenses)and produce a text-file in pipe-delimited format.
I have a doubt how to pass input parameter for nested table which is declared as input parameter in procedure.
CREATE TYPE t_example AS OBJECT(msg_text VARCHAR2(100), bundle_msg_text VARCHAR2(100), version NUMBER(10)) / create type t_msg_details ia table of t_example /CREATE TABLE table_nested_sample (msg_codes NUMBER(10), language_id NUMBER(10),
...
How to call this procedure I want to insert data like this
select 1 as id, 'role1,role2,role3' as roles from dual union all select 2 as id, 'role1' as roles from dual
to
select 1 as id, 'role1' as roles from dual union all select 1 as id, 'role2' as roles from dual union all select 1 as id, 'role3' as roles from dual union all select 2 as id, 'role1' as roles from dual
?
I would prefer sql then plsql. Script for creating a test table:
create table CONVERT_LIST(id integer, roles varchar2(100)); insert into CONVERT_LIST values(1,'role1,role2,role3'); insert into CONVERT_LIST values(2,'role1');
CREATE TYPE TEST_103 AS OBJECT(CHILD_CSE_ID VARCHAR2(25)); CREATE TYPE TEST_104 AS TABLE OF TEST_103; CREATE TABLE TEST_105 ( CL_ID VARCHAR2(25), CSE_ID VARCHAR2(14), EXP_ID VARCHAR2(13),
I have a requirement, where i need to find and replace values in delimited string. For example, the string is
"GL~1001~157747~FEB-13~ CREDIT~ A~N~ USD~ NULL~".
The 4th column gives month and year. I need to replace it with previous month name. For example:
"GL~1001~ 157747~ JAN-13~ CREDIT~ A~N~USD~NULL~".
I need to do same for last 12 months. I thought of first devide the values and store it in variable and then after replacing it with required value, join it back. I just wanted to know if there is any better way to do it?
This I want TO separate TO different COLUMNS based ON comma.
THE RULE IS LIKE out OF total five fields FIRST 3 comma will be FIRST 3 addresses AND rest will be address4 AND LAST NUMBER should appear IN pincode field IF found.
The trouble is for reading reverse to get the number.
WITH address AS (SELECT 'Avenue Supermarts Pvt Ltd,Anjaneya, Opp Hiranandani Foundation School, Powai, Mumbai,Pin Code 400076' addr1 FROM dual UNION ALL SELECT 'Plot No. J-I, Block B-I, Mohan Co-operative Industrial Area, Mathura Road, New Delhi-110044' addr1 FROM dual UNION ALL SELECT 'Padmashree Arcade, NH 5, Chinagantiyda Main Road, Gajuwaka, Vishakhapatnam' addr1 FROM dual UNION ALL SELECT 'The Icon, 2nd 3rd Floor, #8, 80 Feet Road, HAL III Stage, Indiranagar, Banglore-560075' addr1 FROM dual UNION ALL SELECT '13/1, International Airport Road, Bettahalasur Post, Bengaluru-562157' addr1 FROM dual) SELECT addr1 FROM address;
I am trying to split comma separated string. My table has more than 5 lacks data. I have tried the following SQL but its taking more than 5 minutes. Any Alternative solution to return data quickly ?
SELECT REGEXP_SUBSTR(order_id, '[^,]+', 1, LEVEL) order_id FROM order_detail CONNECT BY REGEXP_SUBSTR(order_id,'[^,]+',1,LEVEL) IS NOT NULL
SELECT REGEXP_SUBSTR(order_id, '[^,]+', 1, LEVEL) order_id FROM order_detail CONNECT BY LEVEL <= LENGTH(order_id) - LENGTH(REPLACE(order_id, ',')) + 1
No err-----------------------------1 rishi,rahul2 rishi,ak I want output like:
No ERR1 rishi1 rahul2 rishi2 ak i am using the below query for this:
select no,regexp_substr(err,'[^,]+', 1, level) from abcd connect by regexp_substr(err, '[^,]+', 1, level) is not null but this query is giving me output:
1rishi1rahul2ak2rishi1rahul2ak if i am using distinct then only desired output is coming. select distinct no,regexp_substr(err,'[^,]+', 1, level) from abcd connect by regexp_substr(err, '[^,]+', 1, level) is not null but i don't want to use distinct because my table has millions of rows and err contains comma separated varchar(6000);
I have a requirement to sort a comma seperated string. For example if I pass '1234,432,123,45322,56786' as string, then it should return '123,432,1234,45322,56786', after sorting the numbers inside the string.
I have done it creating Global Temporary table. Is there a way without creating the Temp table. I understand I can write the whole logic to sort and append the string, but if there is any direct way.
CREATE GLOBAL TEMPORARY TABLE TEMP_TAB(COL1 VARCHAR2(100)) ON COMMIT DELETE ROWS; CREATE OR REPLACE FUNCTION func_sort_string(pi_string IN VARCHAR2, pi_delimiter IN VARCHAR2 DEFAULT ',') RETURN VARCHAR2 IS PRAGMA AUTONOMOUS_TRANSACTION; l_str VARCHAR2(2000) DEFAULT pi_string || ',';
I wanna convert the amount of money from number to string such as 144.5 to be one hundred forty four point five is there any function or i have to write my function? How could i put new line in the string?
for example if i have 'SAB Bank' || 'Riyadh'
but i want SAB bank to be displayed in line and Riyadh in line.
I believe we need to use Translate function to get rid of special characters, But I would not be knowing what sort of special charecters which appear in the string, In that case how do I use Translate?
'Oracle fast parallel data unload into ASCII file(s)' in this blog: URL....I have compiled the code and created the objects and the directory in my DB...But when I execute :
SELECT * FROM TABLE( DATA_UNLOAD( CURSOR( SELECT /*+ PARALLEL(A, 2, 1) */ TABLE_NAME || '|' || COLUMN_NAME || '|' || DATA_TYPE FROM MYTABLE A
....
It is supposed to return 2 rows (because of parallel execution), but it just returns 1..Do I have to do something special in order to make parallel pipelined function work
I have a table that has column with BLOB datatype. I am trying read only the inputted String from the BLOB datatype column. I have used the below query,
SELECT utl_raw.cast_to_varchar2(column1) FROM TAB1 and it gives the result as <H2><FONT color=#cc0000><EM><U>test</U></EM></FONT></H2>
However I would like to extract only the string "test" which is inputted. Is there any build-in function in oracle which will satisfy this requirement?
I want to use a function in join clause. so i go for pipelined function(using for loop to get record & 1 more loop to fetch in table type variable). i achieved what i required. but problem is it takes much time to fetch data. is there any other approach which returns table records without pipelined function.
A big table of size more than 4 GB from 10g DB needed to be extracted/exported into a text file,the column delimiter is "&|" and row delimiter is "$#".I cannot do it from TOAD as it is hanging while extraction of big table.
