Application Express :: Updatable Report With Row Data Depended Dropdown Box Values?
Apr 17, 2013Oracle 10, Apex 4.0.
Working on this query:
SELECT waarde1,waarde2,
APEX_ITEM.POPUP_FROM_QUERY (3,waarde3,'select select ((waarde1-0.1)+(level*0.1)) d, ((waarde1-0.1)+(level*0.1)) r from (select * from lov_test where waarde1 = c001) connect by level <= (((waarde2-waarde1) *10)+waarde1)') waarde3

The idee is to get a popup or dropdown box for "waarde3" in witch the selectable values are waarde1 to waarde2 rising with 0.1 at a time.
And this in a multi row updatable report.Example
waarde1 waarde 2 waarde3
(possible values in the dropdown box)
1 4 1-1.1-1.2 ... 3.8-3.9-4.0
3 7 3-3.1-3.2 ... 6.8-6.9-7.0

Oct 1, 2013i have used radio button under dynamic conditions for an interactive report.eg: radio button values are like a) front end b)middlware c)back end.so based on the selected value of the radio button, interactive report appears. and each fields in radio button have separate set of users. now my issue is,based on the user logging in, the default value should set up while the page is loaded...[i.e... if a front end user logs in, the default value of tat radio button shd be front end...]

Jun 10, 2013In APEX I've always created form on report so as to have the list of records of a table and the possibility of inserting/updating every sinle record by means of the form on it, ok?I have an application concerning classic costumers, orders, ... with a table for every item.
The problem is that I have to gather all information ao as to produce a classic bill with a typical layout where you have on your left some descriptions and on your right an amount but of course the layout is not based on a classic table, do you mean?Do I have to create a table in which I'll add data and null values so as to get the layout desired

Aug 29, 2012I am using Apex 4.1 and have a requirement to create an interactive report based on a dynamic query. This option is available in Classic report but in Interactive this feature is not there. Tried using collections or just a view (thought of changing the view definition during "On load", but structure of the report is already defined based on the definition of the view at design time).
Is there any way of achieving this?

Jul 25, 2013I've got a report with two lov's, where the user is able to change the lov value and submit it. After submit the status of the item P100_status will be changed in Disable. Based on this value the lov's must be disables with apex_disabled. How can I disable these columns based on the value of P100_status?

if the bonus > comm, I need to change the text color of the bonus color to Red if the bonus < comm
I need to change the text color of the bonus color to Green if the bonus = comm, I need to change the text color of the bonus color to Black I have tried using code with the select and am NOT wanting that since it will be bundled with the data when downloaded as CSV or Excel.. Had thought about using the built in highlighting but that doesn't allow comparing a column to another.. Was thinking of a dynamic action, but not clear as to HOW to do it.

1)Travel Booking form
2)Reservation Form
3)Cancellation Form
Under one booking number i can add multiple users in which they can have there multiple travels.
Users can cancel there individual travels under a prescribe booking number which on doing the Cancel flag turns to 'Y'.
What i want is, If a user is cancelling his/her travel under any booking number then while retriving the records in Travel Booking form, the travels which are cancelled should not be in enable mode.
For one user there can be 4 travels out of which 2 are cancelled, how can i track only those records whoes cancel flag is set to Y. some logic to find it out. Else can i use :system.cursor_record. If yes, How to use it for this system.

Application Express :: Saving Private Interactive Report Overwrites The Primary Report
Dec 10, 2012Having this issue in Apex 4.1.1 and 4.2 (haven't tried it in versions prior to 4.1.1 yet). So I got my standard IR, and trying to create a private report with control breaks, aggregations.
Once I save it as a private report, It applies the same on my primary report.
It's no big issue as I can flip back to Primary report and delete the control breaks, aggregations but is some kind of bug? Ideally it shouldn't modify my primary report unless I try to save it as "Default Report Setting".

Oct 25, 2013I have a Page containing 3 reports and I was wondering if it is possible to re-execute only one of the these reports using a button or preferably a Select List which allows me to choose which of the 3 reports I wish to 'refresh/re-execute'. I may be totally wrong here but I assumed that choosing the option to submit a Page will cause all regions to refresh i.e. re-execute the SQL queries they are 'based on'.

Nov 1, 2012I have a Report Region with Type SQL Query and Source "SELECT * FROM <table>" where <table> has a primary key from a sequence. Under Report Attributes, I have Report Column "ST_NM" with Show and Sort checked and having a Sort Sequence of "1". I assume this is to set the iniital display sequence but regardless, the report rows display in Primary key order initially.

We are having DSN problems using the print url given on the report query. The URL works for some of our developers and not for others.
The test report button on the report query appears to work for everyone but I do not know what is behind the "Test Report" button. If I could recreate the test report button on our page this would be GREAT!

Aug 30, 2010I have 2 datablocks(non database) 1-Header & 2-Detail. In Header there are 3 Text Item with 3 LOV attached with them. When all the 3 Fields are filled (with their respective LOVs) then Detail records are populated.
However if I am choosing LOV for the 1st Item and then clicking the 2nd Item, Again if I wish to go back to the 1st Item LOV I am unable to do so. That means my issue is I am not able to navigate to the 1st item in Header to call its LOV if control is in in the 2nd Item.
Both the Header n Detail have the following property:
Navigation Style : Change Datablock
Previus Navigation DataBlock : Null
Next Navigation DataBlock : Null

A dynamic action would be useful here (on change where Select List 1 = x), but I don't know how to take the action of changing LOVsfor Select List 2 based on that action.

Application Express :: Highlighting Accordion Based On Selection
Nov 19, 2012I have created three accordians where there will be sub tabs under each Accordian. There will be two logins. Where when i login with Admin all the 3 accordians will be shown. But in the user logins 1st Accordian will be hidden and only 2nd & 3rd will be shown with their sub tabs.
In order to highlight the tab & also for Accordian to be open based on the selection, i wrote code as follows

in the page under the Execute When Page Loads region where ('activate',0) means the position of the accordian which will be taken as 0,1,2..etc.But when i login as user then as the 1st accordian will be hidden & the 2nd and 3rd accordians will become 1st & 2nd. So 1st & 2nd accordian wil be consider as 0,1 positions here.
So when i click on the 2nd accordian tabs then the accordian is not opening because in the pages of this accordian tabs i have given the code as

as the active is 1 so the accordian in position 1 is opening but i want the accordian in 0 position to be opened as i selected the tab under that accordion only.
